1 1/2 years of health problems and too many doctor visits....

Okay, I am 21 years old and I am coming here in desperation. A bunch of symptoms started occurring about 1.5 years ago and I've been vegan for 1 year. I also do not drink, smoke or do any drugs, nor do I take any medicines. I do take supplements including a B complex, multivitamin, acidophilus and sometimes kelp. I've had a low grade headache every day and it never goes away....I'm also tired ALL the time and I have difficulty concentrating and I'm very weak. These are the main ones that are always there. Some other symptoms come and go such as numbness in my arms, hands and legs, always cold, nausea (but never vomiting) and fainting whenever I have a procedure done (blood, shots) unless I am laying down. These all started around the same time. Ones I've been having more recently are feeling extremely dizzy and my eyes are strained.

We started going to the doctor a year and a half ago and she told me I had mono. Any other appt after that, she would say I had mono. We had my wisdom teeth taken out. The doctor usually says I have a low blood pressure. My neurologist said I had Lyme Disease, then I saw an infectious specialist and he said I did not have it. I had a sleep study that was normal. We're testing my blood right now for any vitamin deficiencies. I really don't know what to do anymore because the doctors can't come up with anything that is wrong with me....

You have to cleanse your body first. You are full of toxins and candida. You can buy great body cleanses here : www.herbdoc.com or www.blessedherbs.com
Then use some natural whole food supplements, and magnetic rings, and other things.
You can buy it all on this great site www.naturalcuresstore.com
After that you will be healthy and feel great!
And one more thing - NEVER GO TO MEDICAL DOCTOR. NEVER!

And I wouldn't if I didn't have another choice. We're working with a neurologist now in case any thing is seriously wrong. Then, I'm going to a holistic doctor.

haha, my picture is actually from over a year ago, I'm not sure why it uploaded. While I still do have lip piercings, they are bioplast (plastic). the ones in my ears are metal and the one in my belly button. I'll change them to bioplast and see what happens.

Jessica:

I understand on the bioplast, but try taking them out completely and see if it makes a difference.

Chiropractic teaches that there are two types of nerves: pain nerves and function nerves. Pain nerves are the ones that tell you something is wrong (the pebble in the shoe analogy). Function nerves send and receive signals from the central nervous system (brain/spinal cord) through the peripheral nerves to the various organs, and back again. It's the body's switchboard between the brain and organs that keeps things running, like heart rate, respiration, etc. (there's a lot more to it than this; I am giving just basic information).

It's not unrealistic to think that a piercing might be severing a function nerve and you not know it. You complain of your eyes straining and dizziness. It's not out of the realm of possibility that your lip-piercings might be a factor (as one example).

Take the piercings out for a few days and see what happens. What's it gonna hurt?

Seeing a holistic doctor is a good idea too, by the way. Getting some professional guidance.

I'll try this one piercing at a time. I'll have to do my lip last because it always likes to close up. But I do take those ones in and out frequently.

Hi Jessica,

Hope your would well when you received this few lines. Have you every consider seen doctors from other countries like Mexico or Canada? The American health system is a base on a profit bases and they don't want for you and I to get well or get "cure". That is why they one keeps sending you one, another and other. I have lost the trust in the American health system when i comes to diagnosis. My mother had the same problem and she had "stomach problems" and was going to doctors for three straight years and nobody could find out what her problem was. She was already fed up and tired of wasting time and money trying to find out. She was ready to give up. One time we went to Mexico to buy some Tequila. LOL We saw a doctors office and asker if she wanted to stop by. She didn't want to....she said it was a waste of time, since the USA that has the "best doctors" and medical equipment couldn't diagnose much less doctors from Mexico. Before we came back to the states I was able to convincer and she want in and consult w doctor. Doctor talk to her and ask her to have some general analysis 1st and then he was going to consult with her. They drew some blood and told us to come back in an hour. We went and had breakfast came back and the doctor had the results of the analysis and was ready to consult her. You won't believe what happen. It turns out that she has gastritis. Mother couldn't believe it. The doctor prescribe medication and told her that after she finish her medication to go back for follow up in 30 days. She bought and took the medication for a month and that pretty much to her of her problem. Now she was able to to eat everything and anything she like. Before should couldn't. She didn't have to go do a follow up since she was fine. She spend less than $100 doctor visit and medication. Thats a bargain! At the moment.....I decided to consult in Mexico for now on....at least "long term"problems...... As for myself I go have a physical done every year.... over here a "general analysis" for about $100 (cholesterol, blood, type, 50 different analysis) in the states that could run $900.00. What i like the most is the speed and efficiency that Mexican doctors diagnose and give you the proper medication. If money is not en option... might be your best bet to get an answer soon and possibly the end to your medical problems. Ok Jessica feel free to contact me and wish you the best of luck!

Have you read the book, Natural Cures? He states in the book that the cause of all sickness / illness is either nutritional deficiencies, or a person has developed something. I would suggest rereading that part of the book. Did you do anything or change anything in your diet about 1/5 years ago? How long have you had those piercings? I agree, take all of those out to see if it makes a difference. What brands of the supplements are you taking? It is best to take whole food supplements, not isolate vitamins. The best brand on the market, in my opinion, is New Chapter. That is the one that I take. You can get it at Whole Foods. That is a whole food supplement. They have a B complex supplement also. What is your diet like? Are you getting enough protein and calcium? Protein and calcium are really important. My guess is that you need more protein, calcium, and probably other nutritents. If it was me, I would analyze my diet, make sure I am getting enough calcium, fiber, and protein, keep a food log, take a New Chapter brand Multivitamin, and a product called Cell Food. Cell Food is trace minerals that the body needs.

Like I said, I went vegan 1 year ago and the symptoms started occurring 1.5 years ago. The most recent piercing I have (out of 11) is 2 years old. I get my vitamins at GNC, we do not have a whole foods near me. I eat a variety of organic, vegan food that is plentiful in protein, calcium, carbs, etc.

Ok, but have you actually calculated what you are getting a day in protein, calcium, magnesium, vit d. etc? Are you getting at least 1,000 mg of calcium a day? That is not easy to do. How much vitamin d are you getting? Have you have your vitamin D levels checked? Maybe that has something to do with it. What do you typically eat? Maybe it is a particular food causing the problem. Did the problem get any better when you went vegan or was it about the same? What is the most recent piercing? Maybe that does have something to do with it. You can get New Chapter whole food supplements on the internet. I get mine from Swanson (swansonvitamins.com).

Yeah, I've been to a dietitian...for breakfast I usually have gluten free oatmeal w/ Silk unsweetened (added calcium) and a banana or my recent kick of tofu scramble w/ grated carrots, scallions, nutritional yeast and turmeric. For lunch, I usually have a taco salad (spinach, blue organic tortilla chips, sauteed onions peppers black beans and garbanzo beans, with salsa on top). For a snack, I usually have oil popped organic popcorn w/ spectrum canola oil. for dinner, either roasted veggies (brussel sprouts, califlower, potato, sweet potatoes) or steamed veggies w/ rice or stir fry. add in a few pieces of fruit for snacks w/ some nuts here and there and that's about it.

I got my last piercing about 2 year ago (my belly button).

I've been reading so much about the gardasil shot. I regret getting it. I'll post some of what I found:

Soon after receiving the first of three Gardasil vaccinations, my daughter started experiencing daily headaches which progressively worsened. Her doctor said that it wasn't likely to be a side effect of Gardasil. Over the next year, she was referred for vision testing and had a CT Scan and MRI to try to diagnose the chronic headaches which had become quite severe and often debilitating. No cause was found. She was given prescription after prescription which didn't help- and often generated additional side effects that made her feel worse. A year later she still has undiagnosed headaches and takes a prescription medication twice per day to lessen the severity of the headaches. Only recently did we find an article relaying the same story- linking the headaches to Gardasil vaccinations. With no health issues prior to the vaccinations, no underlying cause found following many tests, doctor referrals and medications, and the fact that this all started immediately following her first dose of Gardasil, we suspect this is what instigated the headaches.

On October 11, 2008 my 14 year old daughter began to complain of being dizzy, headache, faintness, nausea, vomiting and stated that her heart hurt each time she took a breath. This warranted her being admitted and transferred to a specialized children's hospital. They discovered an inexplicable enzyme (troponin) surrounding her heart muscle which only appears when someone is having a heart attack. All of her echo cardiograms were normal as well as her other blood levels. She was tested for all of the typical high school diseases as well as lupus, etc. She remained in the hospital until Thursday and is now exhibiting an irregular heartbeat pattern. After visiting with her pediatrician since her release, it is extremal possible that this is a side effect of the Gardisil shots that she had this past November - February.
