Great idea! I love tips like this. I feel like I'm always wondering what to make for dinner ;o)

This salad has become a staple in my world:
mixed greens
spinach
black beans
tomato
Organicville's sundried tomato & garlic vinaigrette (d'lish!)

You can pretty much add anything else you love like avocado or cucumbers. The beans make it quite filling. Enjoy!

Three things that work easy for me is soups, salads and more soups and salads! That's only because im on the Body Ecology Diet....things got harder. Having a BIG salad for lunch makes things easy for me along with keeping a BIG pot of soup in the fridge to pull out. I have Body Ecology Recipes if anyone is interested!

Cayce, I'd be very interested in your Body Ecology recipes if you feel like sharing and have the time! I will be reading the book starting next week, maybe this week....you've inspired me!!

Rachel,

Sure....I would love to share some of them. They aren't the usual recipes but they are made to be quite medicinal to the body and use food combining principles and the alkaline/acidity principle. What are you interested in? I can share some really yummy soup recipes!

One of my favourites: Easy and very healthy!
Zucchini Pasta with Pesto Sauce

Finely shredded raw organic zucchini length-wise, mixed with homemade easy basil-pesto. Garnish with sundried (reconstituted) tomatoe julienne strips, or grape tomatoes. Dust with raw milk parmesan (optional). Bon appetite!

Found this recipe, courtesy of Leslie Bega if anyone's interested in an actual recipe to follow:
For the Pesto:
1 Cup of Walnuts (optional)
3 Cups of Basil
5 Cloves of Garlic
Dash of Celtic Sea Salt
1/3 Cup of Cold Pressed Organic Olive Oil (or more to liking)
(I also happen to put in a bunch of raw parmesan cheese)

In a food processor you want mix all of your ingredients. This will mix up quickly and if you need a little more fluid, you can add a bit more of the olive Oil.

For the Zucchini Angel Hair Pasta:

1/2 of a Large Zucchini

To do this, you need a Spiralizer which is a Spiral Slicer (can also use a food processor slicer, but it's much thicker). You simply slice the Zucchini in to a manageable size, about 1/3 of the Zucchini, and place it on the Spiralizer. You turn the crank on the top to turn the Zucchini into the Spiralizers blade and a thin pasta like stand will collect in the bottom chamber.
Once you have completed Spiralizing your Zucchini, place the Zucchini Pasta in a bowl and mix with your Pesto sauce.

Yum! Thank you!

Uh oh! I would stay away from the Braggs liquid aminos. It basically does the same thing to you as MSG. Check out www.msgmyth.com Not good. I would use a tamari or shoyu sauce instead. Or just omit and add some sea salt.

Dot is that the same as Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar w/ the mother? I HOPE not! OMG.
