Hi, I do not know if you, Linda Marrow, have stuck with the protocol, but if you are still affiliated with the forum here, how are you doing now.? I saw you were on the community page in sept 07 . I am wondering if you lost the 100 lbs you wanted to.You started in 07 and today is March of 09. How have your daughters done on it? Can you reply here soon to let me know.??

Jorge, it doesn't cost $2000.00. If you call the number located on naturalcures.com web site, it will cost you around $200.00 to $250.00. You just need to call HGI at 1-800-819-1027. They will request that you go to a doctor to have a check up and lab work done. You will have to send to them or fax to them. I have this protocol from them but haven't started as of yet. I am reading Kevin's book over and over so I know I will do as written in the book. I will let my results be known when I finish this protocol. I don't need to lose but 20 lbs so we will see what happens.

hi - I haven't done HCG or bought anything on the website - but I have still lost weight. I have to confess I eat things sometimes that aren't on the protocol either. I started with the no hunger bread (tweaked a bit) and the grapefruit. That worked really well. We also did the colon cleanse. That was very easy & beneficial. I was amazed. Besides losing slow & steady - my tastes changed very quickly to where I didn't even find the "old" food tasty or satisfying as before. So - you don't HAVE to put out a bunch of $$dough$$ - I sure couldn't. Just start doing what you can now & add more later as you go.

Just wanted to answer your question about HCG, yes it works wonderfully. I have tried so hard to lose 20 unwanted lbs. and had no success. We became vegans eating organic foods (80 %) my husband is a arobics instruction, work out no less than 4 times a week, and still couldn't shed those hard to lose lbs. Well I was very sketical about HCG but did it anyway, this is my last week and to late I have lost 28 lbs. and inches and feeling wonderful. I started out at 156 lbs. I'm 5'1" this morning weighed in at 129.5. You can make as expense as you want or unexpense. Remember Kevin says to do the best you can. This protocol can be expensive but you don't have to do EVERYTHING on phase I it's better but not necessary, as far as the HCG goes it can be expensive but there are short cuts. I am interested in hearing more about how you can do this and make it not expensive? I've already spent hundreds of dollars on Phase 1 and I have only been on it a few days. The organic food is just so expensive and I can't get the grapefruit. Any ideas about what to do for sure and what you can leave off? Also, I take some medications and I am trying to wean myself off of some of them, but I take thyroid medication and don't think I can just stop that medication. I also take meds for sciatic nerve pain as a result of scar tissue after surgery. I've cut back, but if I don't take it, I have excruciating pain and can't function. So far I haven't found any "natural" way to deal with this problem. Sorry I got off track a little, but am really interested in how to do this without costing so much money.
By the way, for all of you, I did HCG injections back in the '70's and lost weight very easily without any side effects. Of course, I was 30 years younger and probably 30 pounds lighter to start with!

Hi Jeanene. Have you ever tried an Inversion Table for your sciatic nerve problem? I use one on a regular basis. Of course I don't have a sciatic nerve problem, but I think it would help you immensely. I love my Inversion Table and what it does for me, my back, me core, my neck, my attitude, just everything. The good ones from HangUps run about $300. You might check Craig'slist.com or Ebay. I put my mom on it when she was visiting. She had hurt her back 3-4 months prior to her visit. She was 71 at the time of this visit. She was fearful of the table, but I stayed with her. She was inverted for about 2 minutes. After returning to her normal position, she said her back pain was gone and it did not return. When she comes for a visit, I make sure she gets on it at least once during her stay. She is now approaching 73.

I am sceptical about where to get the hcg injections and am amazed that you found a way to do it in the 70's. Some other people told me it worked with out being 100% organic-Do you think that is true?

Hi.
I have had severe sciatic nerve pain about 6 years ago for the space of about one year (had to use a wheelchair when in big box stores - a cane for smaller stores and home) and would you believe that Coral Calcium - no lie - whupped the pain 99% in the space of one month! It has never been that bad since, but when it plagues me from time to time, I hit the coral calcium right away and nip it in the bud.
Regarding the organic diet, that is obviously the ideal food, but because I have NO medical insurance, and had to pay for all the bloodwork ($1250.00) I could not afford to buy expensive organic food on my very tight budget, so just bought the normal garbage in the normal stores. Even so, I lost 30 pounds in one month.
I did, however, spend a little extra money on jugs of DISTILLED water, so that may have helped to flush out my body better. I don't know. Just sharing my experience with you.

I've recently restarted P2 This is my 4th round of P2 since last Oct. After regaining some, I'm down a total of 52.2 lbs. I'm also 4ft.11 and started out at 200.8. I'm down to 148.6. I've got two more weeks on P2 and I hope to be around 135 lbs. Size 14 to size 4 so far!

To Jeanne Strickland, I am no expert, but if I were trying to cut down on Phase 1 I think the most important thing I would do are the cleanses, especially the candida cleanse, since this will help you with your food cravings and just eat as much organic as possible. That is my opinion, anyway.
