Hello!
My 13.5 year old son is already suffering because of acne.I have tryed some stuff but nothing really works.Maybe there is someone who had the same problem.Because he is only 13.5 i'm afraid to treat him as adult. Please help.
Try a probiotic. It is an imbalance in the colon / intestines that causes our body to show signs of bacteria infection on the skin. You can read the info on my page about the importance of the good bacteria. If he eat like most teens and / or has taken antibiotics as a child like most of our children he need to balance the flora internally. Blessings to you and your son, that is a very difficult thing for a teenager.
You may want to try cutting out all dairy products. When I did this and my teenage daughter did this our skin cleared up dramatically. Cutting out all processed foods, chemicals, sugar, flour and increasing omega-3 fats and other healthy fats from raw nuts, flaxseed oil, fish, fish oil, coconut oil, and avacados will also help. It is very hard to convince a 13 year old to get off junk foods/processed foods, dairy, milk, ice cream etc. So you might want to try just getting him off milk and dairy products first. And do not worry he will not die from lack of calcium-this is a hoax- but you can give him a calcium supplement or leafy green vegetables to make sure. Hope that helps. i have suffered from acne my whole life and in the end I have found the cure to be mostly nutritional. I am a big fan of supplementing with essential fats and coconut oil which is also good for the skin. Tea tree Oil is a great topical product for the skin or tea tree soap. Good luck I know how first hand how damaging acne can be to the self-esteem. Love, Truth, and Self-Esteem is the cure for most of our problems.
I couldn't agree more!! The main culprit I think is Sugar and Dairy! You must eliminate those for clear skin. Eat Organic, green foods, healthy oils, nuts, avacados....especially ORGANIC, UNREFINED COCONUT OIL. I use Coconut oil on every inch of my body. Best skin moisturizer I have ever used and I spend quite a bit of time in the sun. Exercising daily helps eliminate toxins, be sure to shower immediately after a workout. No picking or touching your skin EVER! Some acne may be hormonal...Some say acne is not caused by diet...the people that say this even dermatologists....are full of shit just trying to sell a product or they're just uneducated!
I helped my kid by using MSM, probiotics, collodial silver and raw organic eggs, mixed with protein powder and green juice (naked\odwalla|), with a some noni powder.
The probiotics (DDS) were the staple, taken each day or five times a week. The rest were 2 to three times aweek or whenever I could see them coming back.
Oh yes I also started off by using a solution of calcium bentonite clay, for one week.
I use an acidophilus which seems to help. I also use lemon juice + apple cider vinegar on my skin. Oh! And I just started using burt's bees orange essence cleanser which is good on my skin.
