Do mammagrams CAUSE cancer? Do biopsies spread it????

Today’s testing methods
can actually CAUSE the very cancer
you’re trying to PREVENT!

Dear Health-Conscious friend:

You THINK you’re doing the right things to keep cancer at bay…

You eat right. You exercise. And you willingly go along with an annual mammogram or PSA test, “Just to be safe.”

Well, I’m here to tell you those breast and prostate cancer screening tests may not be keeping you safe.

In fact, there are over a dozen ways you can actually protect your health without making it worse. Ways that could really help reduce your risk for cancer and strengthen your ability to fight it…without harsh chemicals or surgeries.

Mainstream medicine isn’t necessarily trying to kill you, but the methods of diagnosis and treatment they keeping pushing at you CAN be downright deadly.

A leading authority on radiation estimates that as much as 75% of breast cancer could be prevented by avoiding exposure to the ionizing radiation from mammography and x-rays.

Or imagine if you’re the one out of ten men whose PSA level is elevated. In this case, you have a 75% chance you don’t have cancer! Yet, you’re still being asked to go through a horrendous (and likely unnecessary) prostate biopsy that has a high risk for serious infections and a long list of possible side effects…

Protect Yourself With these
Cancer Screening Facts
(Share Them With YOUR Doctor)
Don’t be a victim of fear tactics and false diagnoses. I’ll help you learn the truth about cancer screening so you’ll feel more in control and more confident about your healthcare decisions.

MYTH: “Early Detection Can Help You Avoid Drastic Treatments”

FACT: Neither mammograms nor PSA tests can accurately identify which cancers are lethal, so too many doctors still tend to respond to any sign of cancer with biopsies, drugs, surgery and toxic treatments like chemo and radiation.

MYTH: “Mammograms and PSA Tests Are Safe to Your Body”

FACT: Your annual mammograms expose you to ionizing radiation - the only KNOWN BREAST CANCER CARCINOGEN. And for men? Your PSA blood test is simple enough, but it has a high rate of false positives, leading to painful prostate biopsies with a high risk of infection and even unnecessary life-threatening surgery.

MYTH: “Mammograms or PSA Tests will Protect You from Cancer”

FACT: The call for mass screenings was based on the theory that early detection saves lives. But studies can’t prove that these tests are causing a decline in cancer death rates.

AND – even worse – say your PSA test DOES find cancer cells in your prostate…prostate cancer can be slow growing and won’t necessarily kill you. And, although biopsies are thought to be safe…they could actually help spread more cancer! Even mainstream medicine is beginning to realize that needle pricks from biopsies can actually release cancer cells into your bloodstream.

Beware: cancer in the blood can be extremely violent and difficult to treat. (Oh, and ladies, you’re not safe either – mammograms can spread cancer too!)

Suddenly, these “just-to-be-safe” tumor-detecting tests don’t seem safe at all, do they?

Truth is, the cancer business is having a field day feeding on your fears. Cancer is a scary prospect – and that’s exactly why I don’t believe in keeping up the scare tactics fed to us by the cancer-screening con men.

For sure Wendy, your posts have always been kind. I do disagree with you on the reliabity of Thermo's verus Mammo's and that being a reason why some insurances don't cover them. Mammo's just go along with the orthodox treatments of cancer. I believe it is all tied in. But then thats a whole other story.

Thank you for your reply,

Kathy,

I just met a midwife that goes to my church! YAY! I think I will talk to her about this! As for the pap smears...I just had my first one in three years last week. Have not gotten the results back yet. I think im clear though! Im not too worried...it wasn't bad at all!

Kathy, I'm with ya there - I was paying almost 1000 a month for insurance. And wasnt using it much because I was using practioners that either didtn take insurance or werent in my network. My holistic doc was in the network but after the 1000 deductable and then it only paid 1/2. So like you I will be paying for it for years. But I feel it was important to do what I did and I now know everything that was wrong with me and know how to take care of it without Medication. I know in the long run I will spend much less than someone going the traditional way and I will be healthier when it it is all said and done.

If anyone is still interested, a little more info for you on breast thermography can be found at http://www.osteomed2.com/Thermography.html
I am passing a newsletter from a doctor [he is an MD but an officer of CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine)] that I have used in the past with my daughter and mother - it tells a bit about thermography and for those interested in glyconutrients,
