I am looking for a shower filter but don't really want to spend the money on a high-dollar one. Does anybody have any recommendations?

Sara,
I just bought one yesterday at Home Depot for $19.99. My sister has a bad skin condition on her feet and hands and she said they didn't burn after using this filter. I installed it myself, it is that easy just get some
plumers tape to seal joints.

That's great. Does the shower filter eliminate the poisonous vapor from the air as well? I think the word for it is chloramine?

Hi,

Saw your video and thought it was awesome.

Sarah, I've been using Aquasana shower filters ($60), as well as their under the counter faucet filter for almost a year and a half now with excellent results. The only other brand on the market that I've found that is potentially superior to the AQ models, is made by Wellness Filters. The WF's are significantly more expensive, but the filter elements also have a much longer life. I've also heard rumors that the WF models filter Fluoride, but I've yet to see anything concrete to confirm that. If someone knows where WF publishes those claims, I'd love to take a closer look.

I don't recommend the cheaper versions, as they don't filter nearly as much or as well as the Aquasana model does. I've seen filters for $20 - $40, and even take one of those with me when I travel and swap them out temporarily when I stay in hotels, etc., but I still notice the difference between them and the AQ model.

I went online and found one for only 24.99 or so at Home depot, which I had to order, but I felt it was worth it. Sheri

Thanks guys, this is all really helpful. I checked out the Aquasana today, and it isn't a bad price. It was between $80-$90. I definitly think I will go with that brand. I checked out a couple that Kevin Trudeau mentioned in his second book, but they are very pricey, for me. I don't know when I will be able to get one, but I am excited to try one!

I have the Wellness drinking water system and we all love it. Was looking at buying the shower filter too but after reading this will purchase the Aquasana and save some money! And I cannot find anything in the Wellness publications to suggest they remove fluoride. Thanks, everyone.
