My sister was told to take SOY supplements for menopause. Does anybody have any experience with these? Are they safe? I thought soy was found to be harmful (maybe not in this form)?
Maybe something else in the supplements? I was just reading about soy in Dr. Mercola's new book, and he was saying that soy has never been proven to help with menopause symptoms. Soy is very harmful!
Kathi, Check out the reply by christine about a product that helped her with hot flashes and night sweats on the group called "Menapause", under the discussion "Sleep...I need SLEEP".
Thanks, I will ask Christine. I was looking at bioidentical hormones like in Suzanne Somers wonderful book "Ageless" that someone told me about - was it you??? That is a good book.
Thanks, Renee! It was spelled wrong. I typed it right in the search bar and came up with nothing. Then I retyped it the way you typed--it wrong, by the way :) and it came up!
I will check it out. Anyone out there looking, it is spelled in the groups as "menapause".
I have read a lot on lecithin extracted from soy. It is very good stuff according to most nutrition authors. I am guessing it needs to be organic and non GMO to be any good these day.
