I'm on my fifth injection and the hCG protocol is working delightfully. I've been following Dr. Simeon's study primarily because there are conflicts between the study and the book. How are other people dealing with this?

Simeon includes one melba toast with lunch and dinner. Trudeau doesn't even mention this. Does anyone know why?

Simeon says no fat, including vitamin E. Trudeau says take vitamin E and Omega 3.

Simeon says no meds. Trudeau says to take Acetyl-L-Carnitine; does that affect the protocol?

Simeon is against massages, but Trudea recommends them.

Trudeau points out how delicately balanced this protocol is. I'm afraid of making mistakes.

And one more thing. I thought that the book said that oral hCG didn't work. If that is true, why am I looking at ads for oral hCG?

Oral Hcg doesn't work, you see adds because drug companies are trying to capitalize on the HCG bandwagon. The only HCG that works must be injected, at least from everything i read. As far the protocal I personally plan on doing Simeons protocal to the T except everything as oraganic as i can.

I'm a little concerned after reading the above statement that oral hCG doesn't work. I ordered the oral supplements from Kevin's website, with a guarantee that the oral route worked better than injections during phase II. Could someone comment on this? The link below is where I've gotten the info regarding the oral supplements.

Thanks, Steve.

Jane, Did you do all the cleansing prior to starting Simeons diet and the injections? It looks impossible to do?

I did try. I hate to be the one here that is not ecstatic about colonics. It looks overwelming. I actually took a couple of hours and broke down the entirety of Phase One into 3 catagories: Taboos, Physical Things to do, and Dietary Things to Do. That narrowed things down considerably. Then I rearranged the diet stuff into a daily plan. Water: 1 glass upon rising + 1/2 to 1 gallon, Breakfast: 1 grapefruit, green tea, whole food supplement Snack: 1 apple Lunch: 1 grapefruit, yerba mate tea, whole food supplement, salad topped with apple cider vinergar and coconut oil Snack: 1 apple Dinner (before 6pm) chamomile tea, salad topped with apple cider vinergar and coconut oil Snack: cottage cheese topped with cinnamon, 2 calcium tablets Supplements: Fiber, 2 Acetyl-L-Carnitine, 1 omega 3, 1tsp probiotic

That made Phase One more do-able. And then I added food to the above. The organic veggies are more perishable than the regular stuff, which was a real eye-opener. You gotta wonder what they are putting in that stuff! I didn't actually lose weight on Phase One, but I felt a lot better physically. And you don't have to do everything, just what you can or want to. I stopped Phase One when I started the injections cuz I wasn't sure how it would affect things.

Yeah it is a bit confusing! My DH is doing the HCG diet himself and taking the HCG by what the doctors recommended is totally different from the way the book says to take it! I don't know...but he is loosing weight!

As long as it is working, that's the important thing!

I'd love to know how your DH is doing the program!

Hi,
I just received my HcG in the mail, how are you converting the international units to the 125 unit dosage we need to take on a daily basis?

How and where did you order your HcG?
