I've done the weightloss cure but so far, I do not have an "after" picture. I think the plan is great, but it did not achieve all that I had hoped for. I still have thighs that rub together when I walk and my lower body is several sizes larger than my upper. For instance, I can wear my size 5 leather jacket, but wear a size 12 (sometimes 10) in pants. I did phase 2 twice and both times it stopped working for me. The first time was on day 23 and the second was day 25. I followed KT's book perfectly but ate a bit more the second time and it seemed to work better... I figured his handful was probably a little larger than mine!! However I will say that I've been off of Synthroid since the first round, which I finished in November '07. Don't get me wrong, overall the results have been great... I went from a size 14 or 16 in pants to a 12 or 10 and I was a 12/large in shirts and now wear a small. Clearly I'm meant to be a curvy girl. I will say how pleased I am with how my skin looks. People say I glow, and I don't look gaunt, like I've dropped 30 lbs., neither did my breasts get any smaller. My waist went from 33 to 28. Don't hold out for the after picture though, cause I'm not sure I'm going to do one.
I would like to comment that losing weight this quickly (though the first time was much worse than the second) requires a lot of emotional support. I found that it really played with my head. The lack of food (though not a hardship physically, thanks to the HCG) forced me to examine the other assignments that I'd had for food. Not a bad thing, but I was going through an extremely difficult time because of life circumstances, and it was really hard not to have a bit of coffee (I HATE black coffe!) or dark chocolate to help me cope! I realized that I'm not very good at taking care of myself or finding coping strategies.
Also, I had a really distorted reality... perhaps left-over from years ago when I was bullimic or anorexic. I didn't have a clue what I looked like, even though the scale said I'd lost a pound, I couldn't see it and was really discouraged. Or if the scale said I didn't lose, I was ABSOLUTELY devastated and certain that I was some kind of horrible failure (though I never cheated). The second time was much better but I credit the fact that I didn't weigh myself. I know that's against the rules but for a reformed eating dissorder gal, I realized that there was just weigh (pun intended!) too much focus on my weight and how I looked, completely contrary to healing from eating dissorders. As I said, the second time was much better. It didn't "mess with my head" so much. Today is 2 days before the end of phase 3. I love phase three! I could live like this forever. Who needs grains or potatoes? Who needs sugar?
I released 160lbs by improving my food intake, reversing morbid obesity.
I did not strictly follow the 'weight loss cure', just cut out processed/cooked foods and moved gradually into a raw food lifestyle. I believe weight loss can be totally natural, simple and easy, if we simply come more into alignment with nature - there's nothing complex abt it ;)
Aside from losing more than half of my body weight, my life has transformed in every way imaginable - emotionally, socially, mentally, even romantically ;)

Angela, you look awesome. Way to go girl!!! I have lost 30 pounds from following the protocol but you are amazing. I have been struggling and gain 10 pounds back but all in all I feel much better than before. Congrat to you girl!!!
Yep - worked for me. From the first day of round one to the last day of round two - I lost nearly 50 pounds. And each time I break, my weight doesn't skyrocket back up. Here's my before and after:
The only sure way to lose weight and KEEP it off is a life style change. There are alot of magic bullets out there, but they are only temporary fixes...
