Tonya, I'm about two weeks from my phase three and I've lost 22lbs. I haven't cheated once. I'm hoping I'll have 30 lbs by the end of it. Some lose more weight. However, since hitting the big 50 nothing I tried to lose weight worked. This does!!!! And if I have to do three rounds of phase 2 so be it. At least I know it works!!!! I saw what GrammySmith said about increasing the magnesium so now I've pumped it up to 5tsp. a day and that is working well to keep things moving. I'm so very happy you are on the slide down in weight.
well what can i say i was about 190 and i now a 155 slow but am getting there i use alot of herb tea that i found. one to controll my input (spirulina) and my output Digestive Enzyme i got this from Kevin book,(smile) whole wheat bread & pasta etc;I am a vegan i move from veggie i love me know. I do exercise cause you need it and it help because, you do not want to lost the weight and have skin hanging off you. i will send a fat picture but i hate to see it.
Hi everyone, my name is Mitch. In October of 2007 I started the Phase 2 protocol for 6 weeks. My weight loss came to a total of 32 lbs. I cycled out and did it again in January 2008 for 4 weeks and the loss was another 15 lbs. I just took my last injection a few days ago from a 21 day round and the loss was 10.5 lbs for a complete total of 57.5 lbs! The only exercise I did was rebounding. Funny as it may sound, I didn't want to "confuse" the scale by adding muscle (since it weighs more) because I really wanted to know how much the total fat loss was. I know, I know, muscle burns more fat, yet I just wanted the most scientific numbers possible.
When I started I was 235 lbs and now am hovering at 177-179 lbs at the height of 6'2". Once I've "cycled out" and will be in Phase 4, I'll go the route of weight training and build pure muscle. Heck, at this point, I can afford to gain 20 lbs of muscle and still be under 200!
As far as energy levels/hunger/dizziness goes, I did experience all of these symptoms at different times. All three times I did Phase 2 I did have low energy levels. So even if I did want to workout it wouldn't have been possible! The last time around I did feel some dizziness around 4-5 times in the three weeks. All three times I did experience some hunger and that was usually in the beginning. After the first few days, it was smooooth sailing! So I do encourge others to do the program and be in for the time of their lives!

fat vs muscle re: weight. In the past,i worked at our local athletic club. My son Is also a trainer,and i have read lots of books on excersise and nutrition. I saw something interesting one day at the athletic club. On the counter were 2 simulations(very real looking) One was 5 lbs of fat,the other 5 lb of muscle. They both weighed the same. the very eye opening difference was how much larger the fat was compared to the muscle. Kinda like comparing 2 things like.... which weighs more,5 lbs of rocks or 5 lbs of feathers???? the mass is very different,but they weigh the same. I've always been surprised how 2 people the same height weighing nearly the same,can look so different, (one having more BMI % than the other). bottom line.... FAT takes up way more room.thats why the scale is only 1 indicator of a persons progress,and if a person weighs daily it keeps them aware to correct food intake on a daily basis before it gets out of hand. I knew a person who was loosing inches but the scale wasent budging. this is probally the conversion thing you were talking about. building muscle loosing fat scale stays the same(because they weigh the same) but she lost inches (because fat takes up more room) hope this didn't sound "soap boxish" :) wasen't my intent.
Your weight loss has been encouraging to read. thanks for posting.My husband is 6'2" also, and weighs 215 we talked about a 21 day protocal for him but all i see on him is a sm amount of belly fat(he's pretty big boned) i don't want him to look skinny, or to loose his butt :) At your weight do you feel slim? did you loose it all over? did you have problem areas? is your frame average? just courious. do you have any before and now pics you can post?
Thanks Mitch for your posting. I am almost at the end of my round 1 second phase. I can hardly wait until the start of my phase 3 since my hands, elbows and feet are dry. I did not cheat once because I experienced very little hunger (first few days) or a little if I went over my regular meal times. It appears that I will be around 25lb weight loss by the end of this.
I found what you said about excercise interesting. I was going to curves 5 times a week before I started the protocol and continued first three weeks into protocol. I thought it might be slowing down my weight loss so I'm down to very little excercise last three weeks. As far as I can tell it didn't make any difference. I did not have any problem with my energy levels except that when I excercise I have more energy.
Tonya, I am going to do phase 3 for 6weeks as Dr. Simeone recommends. I am going through a medical clinic and that is what they recommend as well. I feel you can't do better then following Dr. Simeone.
Eating in the moring is very important even if it's a apple. you are going to get sick if you don't eat. It have things that can help you cut down on the amount you eat and spirulina does that. Try to eat a lot of fruits and vegetable for a week and tell me how it feel and how much u lost. fruits in the day and vegetable at night
Hi Grandmasmitty, I am awaiting my hcg, do you suggest that I do anything before it arrives as far as diet supplements or anything. Also does anyone have any suggestions on where to purchase organic foods? Does everything have to be organic?
