My Son in law loves this product. I just know it has soy, not so good for you, and no trans fats. I can't find any info on this, except their on website.
Pure organic butter is best! Ingredients, cream and salt. You will actually use less because of the better taste and your body know the difference between "whole fat/foods" and labratory concoctions. I have switched to pure butter, olive oil, and coconut oil as my only oil/fats and not only have I not gained any weight, I have not had any problems with my gall stones either.
And everyone be aware of deceptive labeling, the FDA allows labels to say "no trans fats" if it's less than 1/2% PER SERVING but they don't tell you how much it really is if you ate , say 3-4 servings in a day, and then cumulative over days, weeks, and months, how many trans fats you are ingesting. If it says partially or fully hydrogenated, put it back!
Actually Sandy, lack of prevention causes heart disease as well and any and every other disease there is. It's not just animal fat. Anything is ok in moderation, but if there's a choice between margarine and butter,,,I'd stick with butter. (AGAIN, in moderation)
I haven't researched that....In a nutshell, what is it exactly?
Just to put animal fats into perspective with regards to cardiovascular disease, drinking water contains approx. 5 ppb of benzene and the law allows 5 ppb of benzene to be present in edible foods. Sodas contain about the same amount,,,,,Although I DO NOT drink any sodas, I DO breathe the air and pump my own gas. We breathe in about 50 times the amount of benzene because of pollution and vehicle exhaust and about 100 times the amount when we pump gas.
So that's why I think that a little animal fat, in moderation, is really not as big a deal as many would have you believe.
Interesting video...thanks...I'm a little surprised I haven't really heard of this before. Honestly, I always thought they were vapor trails caused by condensation in the colder atmosphere.
Yes, contrails are just water vapor. I was an aircraft mechanic for several years in the Air Force. They are actually putting those additional chemicals in jets now for spraying... it's pretty sick stuff.
Yes, contrails (condensation trails)....that's what I thought they were,,,,I didn't realize that it was chemical trails. You have officially educated me on something new for me....LOL
This is so funny, that there are this many replies, when I wrote this in April. Since I wrote this, my son-in-law and daughter have moved, so I don't have to listen to him tell me that it doesn't matter what he eats. My husband and I eat organic butter. I just wanted someone to back me up, at that time, and I didn't get much of a reply. Thanks everyone!!!

Michele,
Yours is one of those revived topics that crop up from time to time. A little late perhaps, but always great to rediscuss as new people join the community.
I'm with you: Organic butter! Coconut oil is a good substitute (for me).
