Another Water Question. Please help!

Hi Daniella,
This is Bonnie. Drinking pure water is essential for good health and I know what you mean about doing it on a limited budget. I recently purchased a home filter as an improvement from Multipure. I am amazed at the difference in taste, odor and texture of the water, aside from the elimination of contaminates. It far exceeds any other affordable system I looked at like the Pur and Brita. I highly recommend it and it comes with a life time warrantee. You not only taste the difference you can actually see the difference. Now I fill my glass water bottles from my tap eliminating excessive plastic water bottles from entering the waste system. I saw a picture of a seagull dead on the beach, killed from eating plastic bottles caps. It was what finally push me to make the decision to buy. The excellence of the water was just an added bonus. DAniella, let's talk ... you are correct .. hydration is 2nd [ after 'AIR'] for ingredients for life...then nutrition... MUltipure does NOT advertize 3 plus million have thru word of mouth...better water lower cost at home...MOST effective point of use to HIGHEST standards [ # 53 ] of www.nsf.org for largest # of gallons, for widest range of contaminents of any tested in 64 yrs.... So no filter can do everything Multipure can do MOST of anything and has 3rd party confirmation by nsf to do so....phone 866 watrfix and I'll be glad to help .... getting the solution to you and your family's drinking water needs for people pets and planet watersage/360guy/Elliott

Thank you for you help. I will get hold of the # you posted. Weren't you the person who just lost an amazing amount of weight thru isagenics? Or is that someone else?

Yes, that's me. I am still on the weight loss path. 30# more to go. I also bought the Multipure filter just before I started the Isagenix. Pure water is essential to the cleansing process that results in the weight lose. But actually it was the picture of the birds dying from ingesting the plastic that really got me moving. After I became conscious of the necessity of good water and the ability to impact the environment by no longer using and throwing away plastic water bottles, I decided to do something about my weight too. ABSOLUTELY and thanks for asking. I think I left you a message on your profile page. I have been on the isogenics site and am confused. It is nice to have a fellow WW person to share things with. I lost and gained but the information about eating healthier has never left. Now all I have to do is afford the organic produce and items.
It's all about the $$. and those who have enough don't really have a problem paying 6$ for a box of cereal. To me, that is outrageous. But, I just started a third job, so who knows,,,if you REALLY want something bad enough!! Ohh--I quit WW because 1.couldn't afford the memebership anylonger. And 2. got tired of thinking about food.

I have his book and I peruse them. Not as yet sat to read cover to cover. I eat organic as much as I can. It is more expensive but the difference in taste is exquisite. Now when I eat a regular strawberry or banana I can taste the pesticides. I am a single mother and have worked 2-3 jobs too, but I finally decided that at my age I needed to do for myself. It's taken me along time to accept that my body is my temple and I need to care for it with the respect and honor it deserves. It isn't easy but I do my best and believe me, I am far from perfect. All I need to do to remind me of that is look in the mirror. Of course, that's only if you use the American standard as your guide. I'm not sure if my friends and dear ones would hold me in the same regard as I hold myself. If I can answer any question about the weight lose product from Isagenix i would be happy to do so. If you want really pure water, then the way to go is distillation. The system that is mentioned below says that distillation removes essential minerals necessary for good health but this is misinformation in that water from taps contains inorganic minerals that under normal conditions cannot be absorbed by the body for its use; however, the inorganic minerals can be deposited in your joints and can cause arthritis. The body assimilates Organic minerals from plants - Not Inorganic minerals from rocks and soils.
If you do decide on a normal filtration system such as a carbon based system - at least make sure that it will remove fluoride and chlorine. I did not notice that the multipure mentions removing fluoride but maybe I just missed it.
