MY SON IS 9 YEARS.
HE STARTED GETTING ECZEMA WHEN HE WAS 5 YEARS OLD.
AT FIRST IT WAS ONLY ON THE FOLDS OF HIS ARM.

THEY PRESCRIBED ELIDEL, AND IT WENT AWAY BUT THEN IT CAME BACK AGAIN. I DON'T WANT HIM TO BE USING PRESCRIBED MEDICINES FOREVER.

HE'S BEEN SEEN BY OVER 5 DIFFERENT DOCTORS.
I'VE TRIED MANY THINGS, BUT THEY ONLY SEEM TO IRRITATE, BURN, OR MAKE IT WORSE.
IS IT SUPPOSE TO BURN, HURT, BEFORE IT CAN GET BETTER?

HIS ECZEMA HAS COME AND GONE.
BUT TODAY HE HAS IT ON HIS FACE, NECK, AND ARMS.
IT IS THE WORST THAT IT'S EVER BEEN.

HE ITCHES SO MUCH THAT IT HURTS.
IT SEEMS TO GET WORSE AFTER HE BATHES.
ALSO WHEN HE SWEATS, IT JUST MAKES HIM ITCH MORE.

PLEASE HELP ME.
HE CRIES BECAUSE IT REALLY BOTHERS HIM.
I DON'T WANT HIM TO BE ON PRESCRIBED MEDICINES, BUT I AM SO DESPARATE, WHAT CAN I DO?

HE HAS BEEN TESTED ONCE FOR ALLERGIES.
THE ONLY ALLERGY THEY SAID HE HAD WAS FOR GRASS.

WHAT KIND OF ALTERNATIVE DOCTORS CAN I GO TO THAT WILL DO THEIR BEST TO FIND THE CAUSE OF HIS ECZEMA?

ARE THERE ANY KINDS OF TEST THAT I SHOULD ASK FOR?
IS IT TRUE THAT THERE IS NO CURE FOR ECZEMA?

PLEASE SHARE WHAT HAS WORKED FOR YOU.

THANK YOU

Hi Marina,

I have servere hives, so I know what your son is going through. If you go to my page, and look at all my blogs, you will see what I went through.

I've also just reread the apple cidar vinager book and did remember seeing that organic apple cidar vinager, does help with skin problems like Eczema, so maybe you should give that a try.

Look to the inside. Skin problems are usually caused by an internal imbalance. Look into probiotics.

HOw is his diet? full of good fruits and veggies? stay away from processed foods, anything from a box, can or bag usually has added junk that can cause your internatl body ecology to get upset. Look at the website www.bodyecology.com

Zinc oxizide and coconut oil applied to the skin
Can also add to lotion or MSM lotion, tea tree, lavendar, rosemary, cedarwood tree and a touch of myrrh oil
Probiotics
Dolomite
Digestive Enyzmes
Calcium Bentonite clay
Activated charcoal.

Vaccines can contribute greatly to Eczema in children

Marina,
When my son was only a couple of months old, he got eczema all over his body. The doctors of course told us there was no cure and they have no idea what causes it. We tried all kinds of stuff and nothing seemed to help very much until I discovered a tv show called Know The Cause. They also have a web site: knowthecause.com
I learned from the host that skin disorders including Eczema are caused by Fungus overload in the body. You must kill off the fungus and take probiotics. I highly recommend Dr. Ohirrah's 12 Plus Probiotics, since it is the absolute best on the market. When a person takes even one round of ANTIbiotics, it kills off all the good bacteria in the colon. This allows yeast and fungus to overgrow and take over the body, becoming systemic and spreading throughout the entire body. A good probiotic will help keep the fungus at bay and restore a good intestinal flora. But what really CURED the eczema was a special form of Beta Glucan from the Nutritional Science Corporation, or NSC. Within a few days the eczema was gone and it has never come back. Their website is: nsc24.com
I have no financial interest in this company, I am just trying to help out because I saw the scratching and suffering that comes along with this skin problem. They have a 3mg called Immunition 24 and an extra strength 10mg called Immunition 100. I would get the 10mg for him. This product actually boosts the immune system, as well as killing fungus. Also go knowthecause.com and check out Doug Kaufman's books where he tells you what foods to avoid that are loaded with fungus, because you don't want him to get reinfected. Here's one for you: Corn is the most fungus loaded food of all. Doug tells you what other foods are fungus infested and what foods are good anti-fungals. Let me know how it goes.

Steve, I plan to buy the Beta Glucan today. I have a question, my son is 8 months old, was your son this young when you gave him the 10mg extra strenght??? Should I give my son the 3mg because his is so small. Any more tips you can think of? Your advice was great. ONE last question, did you find that your son could start eating starches once he was cured? Thank you in advance for your time!

Hi...
I understand how you as his mother feels. My dd has eczema and I know that it is so uncomfortable for them both physically and emotionally.

We found a product that works fantastic to relieve the symptoms externally. It is called "Healing Cream" by Pomega5. I would highly recommend this to relieve the pain and itching, etc. while working on his internal well being.

We did put our daughter (as well as the whole family) on a gluten, casein, fungus free diet. Nor do we eat anything that comes from an animal/insect except honey, etc. We also use natural cleaning supplies (essential oils) and have switched to using food products to wash/condition hair and skin as well as food for softening the skin.

She does incredibly well with this and has not had a break out since.

HTH :)

You may want to concentrate on cleansing his bowels getting him going reguarly and then cleansing of the liver!

In my experience, eczema and most other skin issues and ailments come from things we are putting on the skin (i.e. lotions, creams) or things we are putting in our mouth. He very well is allergic to either some lotion or some food. Has he had an allergy test? My co-worker's daughter had eczema and for her was allergic to Propylene Glycol which is in every name brand skin product on the market. Once they changed their products she was good to go.

I have it to. Currently I'm using something called Rescue Remedy cream. It's made of 5 or 6 different flower extracts and it is definitely working. It's supposed to clear it up and it's not supposed to return.

I will keep you posted. I notice a reduction overnight. I just started using it so I'll post how long it stays away once it's gone.

most of my smaller patches have gone away. but some larger ones still remain. I honestly think the best thing is to do nothing. trying to avoid itching is very difficult but I don't think I have eczema to severely so I was able to control myself some. otherwise i used the rescue remedy. moisture of any kind seems really bad and to make this condition worse.

sure, no problem. and yes, what you said does make sense. I guess I'll try some herbs next.
