Yes it is very BIG! They have teams of lawyers working on it (for free) and if it does pass, they will find many loop holes! PRAY about this, everyone.

Where can I find more information (unbiased) about this? Sorry, but I find that speaker's tone a bit annoying and it only gives me one side. I don't know enough about Codex and would like to learn more.

One thing I do find important is for there to be some kind of guideline regarding supplements. What's stopping any Joe Schmoe from developing a supplement out of their garage from crappy ingredients and calling it such and such? Are there regulations or is it up to us alone to figure out what company is reputable and uses quality ingredients?

Also, does the World Health Organization have a bad reputation? I thought they were reliable? Any info on them I should know about?

I personally think that woman is fairly informative. If you'll scroll down the rest of that page, you'll see other segments of various people talking about it. If you want to find more information, i can currently only recommend Google or Youtube.

I think you might be confused on what this is about. It has nothing to do with consumer protection, it is strictly about the controlling the world's food supply and putting limitations on the quality and quantity of the food each person will get.

Essentially, millions will die from preventable diseases if this thing is passed, which is why everyone needs to do everything in their power to stop this from happening.

I looked on the official page, either I don't know what to look for or it's not user friendly.
I also read through the citizen's petition on the last link you posted above, the one that compares the revised citizen's version to theirs. It speaks of labelling standards for supplements. What I gather from it is Codex seems to want to be the sole authority and the one one to set all the standards.

World Health Organization is part of this, which is why I'm asking, does that mean they are untrustworthy now?

I just watched a video of a lady who says she is fighting this, and she said that they are predicting over 3 billion deaths from this. Now this is what i call population control

LOL! I could use a good laugh after hearing about all of this. But i think we should be able to stop this as long as everyone does their part. The only reason they're getting away with all of this is because we're letting them.

We need to get off the sidelines and back into the game.

The blueprints for plans like this were laid long ago. Anyone remember when the Census would come around and ask all kinds of personal questions, like how many bathrooms you had in your home, down to how many strawberry plants were grown on your property, to how many animals you owned and what kind, etc?
Questions like this were no accident!!!.

Requiring a permit to grow your own food will create situations wherein your own neighbors will turn against each other, they will be turning each other in, telling on anyone who tries to grow their own food. "Telling" on your neighbor will be greatly encouraged by government officials. This encouragement will come in the form of "cash rewards" to be given to anyone for turning in "those who don't conform to government standards; who are breaking the law by growing illegal food products."

Or something like that.

It is not true that government agencies are created to protect the consumer. If that were true, then the pharmaceuticals that are already out on the market would not be allowed to be sold and purchased by consumers or allowed to be prescribed by health care professionals since it is those same drugs that are responsible for millions of deaths each year. That information is purposely kept hidden.
We already have Joe Blow making millions of dollars off of deadly drugs and chemicals as we speak. All the protection agencies and chemical companies are making millions of dollars by lobbying congress to enact laws that allow these deadly drugs to continue to be manufactured and sold to the public.

Strange indeed, how now, all of a sudden, we need Codex Alimentarius to keep us all safe from killing ourselves from taking a natural herb or vitamin.
So how are we going to protect ourselves from some nutcase whacko dacko from concocting some kind of poisonous and deadly herbal substance to sell to us as an herbal remedy? WE'RE NOT!! We already have laws which make it illegal to do those types of things. Laws and punishment are a deterrent to crime, but sadly, that is not always enough to stop illegal activity if someone is obsessed with intent to commit a crime.
We don't need some blood sucking bureaucratic agency taking our rights away all in the name of "protectionism." In fact, if they protect any more of me, I won't be able to breathe.
