That is a good one. I think you should have expressed yourself better to the court. What did you do to have to go to court about this subject?? You should have taken time to high lite some of the stuff in kevin's or someone elses books so you had proof as to what you believe. If is was against your religion you would not have to take the drugs.

i dident have to go to court they did it when i was in a psych ward and they just did it and i had no say so in it and if it is against your religion it doesnt madder as they see it they think you need help and they say we are going to help you if you think you need it or not

Why don't you just join a church that doesn't believe in drugs???????

Brian, your question is a good one. If you require medication to remain stable, I think you need a further discussion with a Doctor about your meds and HCG. If you have been to Court, this tells me you Must remain on your meds. They were precribed for a Reason! And, courts don't get into personal lives and their meds....unless there is a NEED to.

i am 20 i am not unstable but at the time i was talking with my dad about health and he was like your fuckin off your rocker and put me in a psych ward i did talk to my doctor about hcg and he is like it is too dangerous

they put me on a court order because they wanted me to keep taking it, and i cant stop taking it because i am on a shot and if i stop taking it they put me back in a psych ward its like if you get put in a psych ward and say you belive in god there like your crazy there is no god and give you drugs and after you get diagnosed with a mental illness there is no recourse your branded for life you have no say so on if you have one or not

what do you mean how do i get the shot? they give it to me in the butt

I don't understand how your Father could put you in a psych ward if you are 20 years old. Aren't you considered an adult at age 18 in your state? I don't think it matters if you live with him either but I'm not sure about that.

If the hospital admitted you, did a psyc assessment, and put you on meds, and the courts upheld the order then, it's most likely that both the psychiatrist and the court deemed that you do need to be on medication, at least for a while.

but if you were to see me in person and talk to me, you would understand that theres nothing wrong with me, if you have a diffrent way of life the put you on drugs, and i herd from this one person that at that hospital i was at said that if you have this certain doctor he will put you on drugs even if theres nothing wrong with you and thats the doctor i had. "Aren't you considered an adult at age 18 in your state" it doesnt madder if you are of age or not, if the psych hospital gets a report that someones is a nut they bring them in, they use cops to bring them in

I personally never heard of that. If you are of age, how can your father report you to a psych hospital? I would check with an attorney. If you haven't done anything wrong, I honestly don't see how the state can make you take drugs. What are this Doctor basing this on? It doesn't seem like he has any evidence.

Brian Davis:

I'm sure there's a bit more to it than you're saying. One doesn't just get Baker Act'ed without sufficient reason, ie. danger to himself or others.

However, you shouldn't be involuntarily subjected to psychiatric drugging and set loose in the world as an adult (this just doesn't sound right to me). That it's a court-ordered mandate makes it difficult to report criminal drugging of "patients", but here's what I'd suggest:

1) If you're on any kind of hospitalization insurance, quit the policy. That'll cut the funding of your drugging at its source.

2) Obtain a lawyer who will speak on your defense. You need to find one that will present the argument that these drugs are dangerous.

3) Report the abuse. One option is through the Citizen's Commission on Human Rights. I would also recommend that you go over this website very carefully to understand what rights are violated and what else you can do to help yourself.

But again, I gotta say that we're not hearing the whole story.
