Is this hcg really necessary?
I'm sorry if this has been asked before. I have read kevin's book and the program sounds like it would work for me. But, I'm wondering if the hcg is really necessary. Wouldn't I lose weight if I just cut my calories to 500? And how is cutting my calories that low, not going to slow my metabolism down? Sorry if I sound like a skeptic, I just want to hear if anyone has tried to do this without the hcg and what their results were.

I did the protocal without the injection. You can buy an hcg alternative from the natural cures store called orithin. It works. It is sooooo freaken awsome. You do the diet the same way and eat the same foods but instead of the shot just take the pills. they are herbal pills. Cutting your calories down to 500 will not work. I've tried every diet. 500 cals a day by itself is just another way of starving your self. You will lose weight but it will be water and muscle and not body fat and will slow down your metobalisim. All the supplements are going to cost about $800 together. $800 may sound bad but lookin good and feeling good are priceless. Even if you can find a docter who will give you the shot it will cost you a minimum of $2000 but the doctors will charge you for their time and for blood work and whatever else they can milk you for. If you do the shot it will take up most of your time. I was working graveyard shifts at night and while i did phase 2 i was working double jobs. Sometimes 7 days a week. It still worked. But i have to do it again. Because i started at 280. I got down 220 but i still have a long way to go before im satified. Orithin is the easiest best way to go. You also need to buy a book called lifeforce. The book tells you to do a candida cleanse in phase 4. Thats where the lifefore book comes in. If you don't you will be sorry. I've already gained back 20 lbs. And i'm starting to have food cravings and feel like crap all over again. The main reason you have to do the candida cleanse is because when people are born in the usa they are vacinated. As a result of the vacination babies get ear infections. The ear infection then get treated by antibiotics. Antibiotics wipe out the intestinate flora in your stomach setting causeing candida yeast overgrowth and setting you up for a lifetime of obesity. What kevin tradeau says in his books is that when you have a candida yeast overgrown losing weight by convensional methods are almost impossible. In kevins first book most of the illneses are caused by or are related to candida yeast overgrowth. The author of the lifeforce book is named jeffery mccombs. That plan will cost $500 total. More herbal supplements.
