Better This World with Utopian Thinking

If you're alive and you're a thinking person, then you have to hope for something, even if you're not very optimistic that it will be achieved. You still want to work for it. You want to better this world, and you have the feeling not only that it needs to be bettered but that it can be—that its evolutionary fate is ultimately to be better. Therefore you have to align yourself with those who think similarly and not with those who either have given up or think that the world begins and ends with them. I'm sure there are millions of people who feel as I do. Or is that just part of my utopian thinking? I don't know.

When you are what you do, when you don't, you aren't. -W. Dyer & also.....
"Heal the past; live the present; dream the future."
i think we can change the world... what choice do we have? we are killing it and all the life on it by our greed & selfishness (we as humans is implied...) peace - windfeather

Yes, you're right! But I don't know who said it! I love it though! And guess what, I just ordered a T shirt night before last, (and am next going to order a cap with the same phrase,) to have the phrase embroidered on it in capital letters!! I love that phrase! Although it hurts, it reminds me of myself in so many ways; it is a sort of wake up call to myself to do better!
Hey Marilyn, if the phrase is yours solely, it is absolutely brilliant! Yes it is!! Who did say it?
