I've been studying the law of attraction for over 10 years. Much of what is said about the principle in books, CDs and videos is, quite frankly, like believing in a fairy godmother. But the only book that tells the truth and the missing ingredient is "The Greatest Manifestation Principle in the World." I bought my copy on Amazon, but I think the publisher also has a website where you can buy it direct. Just Google the book's title.

Joni, it seems to me that children are very adept at using the Law of Attraction in a positive way. Maybe it's because they are not yet injected with all the fears, prejudices, and insecurities grown ups tend to be limited by.

The fact is that we are all applying the law of attraction at every moment in our lives, one way or another. Positively or negatively.

"Thoughts held in mind, produce after their kind".

The law of attraction is basically different kinds of philosphies that have been around for thousands of years restated. Basically what it says is that you can attract just about anything you want into your life by using the techniques. I believe this is false. Some of what they talk about is actually principles from the Bible but it is twisted to mean something that it doesn't mean in the Bible. There are books written that explain why these kinds of beliefs are not true. If you would like to know spiritual truth, all you need is the Bible. God created the universe and the Bible is the highest form of knowledge that exists on this planet. The end of the Bible, the book of Revelation, describes everything that is going to happen until the end of the world. When you study the Bible, you know everything that you need to know. The book of Revelation is very complicated and it takes a long time to understand depending on how you study it.

This is an open discussion board and with an open discussion board people are entitled to post their opinions. You said Mark wanted some information about the law of attraction and that is exactly what I gave him. The law of attraction is a repackaging of philosphies that have been around for thousands of years and what they teach is 100% false in my opinion. I'm sure Mark can make up his own mind from the information he gets from his post. If you are a very spiritual person, treating others as you would like to be treated, then you shouldn't have a problem with someone posting their opinion. What gives you the right to post your opinion but I can't post mine. My post isn't about religion, it's about Christianity. The Bible is the highest form of knowledge existing on this earth as I said before.

hello,
with all do respect, how do you know that the bible is the highest form of knowledge existing on the earth...that is being very closed minded....did you read and study all the other holy books on this earth to come to that conclusion

The fact that you say the bible is the highest form of knowledge, only displays your stage of development.
The highest form of knowledge is unspeakable. One cannot communicate it to another, in words. There was never such a thing as "the bible", its made from the jewish scriptures, added up.

Yes, the bible contains many secrets very rarely understood. But so does the Quran, so does the Torah and Vedas. Yes, their manifestation in terms of their application seem very different in each, but once you get at a certain level, you realize it is all pointing to the same direction and we end up still fighting over the same thing!

If you said law of attraction was false, why didnt you state why? Its only logical to do so. Well, i agree it can be interpreted as false, depends how you view it. In reality, a spiritual person would know this, that everything is one. So "attracting" something into your life is not really possible if you are already one with it. You simply command it to manifest from within.

All these holy books are pointing towards the same thing. Yes they have differences in manifesting. Just like us! For example, i would like to have breakfast with fruits and vegtables when i wake up, and another would rather have bacon and eggs. Does that mean my way is right? Nope. You need to step out of the box, and see, how amazing each one of us is.

We all express creativity and expression differently... like the prophet mohammad peace be upon him (from the religion of Islam) said: There are as many ways to god, as there are souls created.

Can you imagine the depth of just that? It means every one of us has our own way of god, and much more.

Law of attraction is just one of the tools. I think it is slightly wrongly promoted, as if you aim to reach divity connection with god, the side affects will be abundance and health and everything. Remember the powerful name of god: I am that i am

It shows a lot. I can carry on like this but im afriad i will be hijacking the post topic. Hope this has helped people rather than hurt anyone.

Dawn, the law of attraction involves spiritual beliefs. Spiritual discussions involve religion. What exactly do you believe the law of attraction is? It's a spiritual belief involving spiritual so called 'laws' of the universe. I choose to believe the Bible about spiritual matters and laws of the universe instead of a book written by someone to make a profit. I choose to believe God, the creator of the universe, over a person writing a book of reinvented false beliefs to make a profit. When I became a Christian, God showed me himself that he is real. He does that for every Christian. That is how I know what I believe is true. I intend to inform others about what I believe also. If they choose to follow my advice, they will most likely thank me for it someday. Nyota1

Not everybody's a Christian and wants Christian beliefs crammed down their throats. While what the Bible says and what the law of attraction says might be similar, many people don't want to be associated with Christians since they tend to condemn everyone and push their religion on people.

I know some people may do that but I simply replied to the person's post, I wasn't cramming anything down anyone's throat. In turn, I don't want 'the law of attraction' crammed down my throat by someone telling me I shouldn't post my opinion. The law of attraction involves spiritual beliefs, therefore, my comments about my spiritual beliefs are justified.

Ok. It involves spiritual beliefs that is why my comments were justified. It wasn't like I was bringing up Christianity for no reason whatsoever. Religion is a spiritual matter, and so is the law of attraction. That is why my post is justified. Just because you don't follow Christianity isn't a valid reason why I can't post my opinion.

Ok, I understand your opinion better now. In your post, you agreed with the previous poster who said that she didn't like people who posted about religion. So, to me that meant you agreed with her opinion that I shouldn't post my opinion. Thank you for clarifying that. I really appreciate it. Nyota1
