I have a history of social anxiety. Every time I'm in public, I feel all smiley and people frown all around me. I want it to go away... how can I make it go? It's ruining my life!

"I have a history of social anxiety."
Do you believe you have this affliction? Assuming that you believe you are currently afflicted with "social anxiety", have you been put on drugs to control this? Many of these "social anxiety" drugs cause nervous ticks, which is why I bring this up.
Nervous ticks, charley horses, muscle craps, twitches... these can be relieved with a 2:1 calcium/magnesium solution (in an acidic base, such as apple cider vinegar). You can easily pick up a 2:1 "cal/mag" powder in many health food stores.
Put one or two teaspoons of this powder in a glass, followed by a teaspoon (or two, depending on how much "cal/mag" powder you put in) of AC vinegar and mix it up to a paste. Then pour 1/3 glass of boiling water over the paste (pour the water S L O W L Y because it'll bubble quickly and overflow the glass!). Mix it up to a clear liquid. Then fill the glass the rest of the way with cool water.
It's a little bitter on drinking--until you get used to it--but 1-3 glasses a day will help "calm" your nervous system. It'll even help you sleep if you take it before bed.
Nope, I've never taken any anxiety drugs - decided this because of the serious side effects. But I have tried different herbal remedies in the past. Such as Seredyn, magnesium - Natural Vitality, vitamin b complex, b1's, homeopathy - lycopodium clav.
So this remedy will take away this smiley feeling? I was advised to take homeopathy lachesis which Im stil waiting to arrive in the mail. Do you know if this will also help?

Good for you. You're one of the smart few who didn't get caught in the pharmaceutical trap!
No, I don't know lachesis.
The reason I bring up this 2:1 ratio calcium/magnesium drink is because it "calms" the nervous system, in effect stopping involuntary contractions of muscles. And what else is a smile but a contraction of facial muscles?
I've used this drink for years, usually when I begin getting muscle twitches or cramps.
Ok, I got it from Whole Foods in my area but this was in liquid form that says to take 2 tablespoons a day. It has 1200mg of Mag and 600mg of Cal. Is this good?
my boyfriend has a nervous twitch with his mouth. Do you think this will work for him. What was the name of the 2:1 cal.mag powder that you bought Tim G
