Acne

Hey guys,
I've had acne for about 6 years now, and I'm 18 now. I'm really tired of treating it, but I'm pretty acne free as long as I keep up a regimen. I wash my face with the Acnefree exfoliating soap morning and at night. In the morning, I apply Benzaclin to my face, and use a Cetaphil moisturizer. At night, I apply Differin Cream, use a Cetaphil moisturizer, and take 100 mg of Minocyclin (an antibiotic).
Well, I want to get off all my medicine eventually. So far I have cut down my Minocyclin from twice a day to once a day. I would like any help you can give me.

ACNE BLEMISHES
Apply a solution of apple cider vinegar and water (2 tablespoons to 1 eight ounce glass of water) with a cotton ball several times a day. This will help reduce infection and dry out inflammation.
Another natural healing home remedy calls for the daily application of apple cider vinegar which has been infused with horseradish.
Prepare the solution by adding two cups of ACV to one pound of grated horseradish. Let it sit for two weeks, then strain.

Permalink Reply by Lilian Rose on June 25, 2009 at 7:21am: I've been applying 100% apple cider vinegar straight out of the bottle and it works fine! There is a sting if the blemish is open, but it's minimal.
Melaluca oil also works well. There's no sting. It moisturizes at the same time as it's an oil, but it does have strong scent -- like eucalpsis (not sure how it's spelled).; ▶ Reply to This
