Which is better - using a water filter or ionized water?

I have an Aquasana filter now. I think it's a carbon based filter. Does distillation take out all the minerals? Adding things to the water is a good idea. Do you know anything about ionizing type filters? thanks for your reply.

Hi Marilyn,
I have a question on how you drink your water b/c it sounds great and economical to me....

Step 1: You boil your water
Step 2: run it though the waterwise 9000
Step 3: store it in glass juice bottles

Am I correct in how you do that???
Thanks, Erica

thanks Marilyn! We are going to buy a waterwise 9000 this weekend! I just didn't know that it boiled itself. Thanks for sharing...I know you did a lot of research so I appreciate getting a top notch referral! Do you use a whole home filter or a shower filter as well? We will eventually get one of those but we are moving in a few months so wanted to wait until then.

these units area a part of my business. they run from 275-900. the 900 is more convenient. i'm not here to make individual sales, i educate health professionals nationwide, but had to put input in as i read. they became part of my business only because of their quality, if i find a better unit, that would be my new suggestion. don't know what else to tell you.

What are your thoughts on Brita filters? It filters out alot of things - including the flouride that "they" add to the water. That is what I've used for several years. But I am a newbie when it comes to doing things the right way.

Which Brita filter filters out flouride as well as chlorine?

not sure what this reply means or what it is referring to?

If this is your concern, just go with the Berkey water filters. It's considered one of the best on the market. You need to get the Pf-2 Fluoride filter add-ons though to pull out the fluoride. They don't come standard with a basic system like the big berkey. The black berkeys will take care of the chlorine for you. This site is giving the PF-2's free with every system, so that would be your cheapest route. Berkey

Marilyn ...I distill my drinking water also. Why oregano oil and sea salt ...sounds interesting. Anyway, I"m starting to think that maybe the best water would be ground water ..or well water.
