I have been on antidepressants for 7 years, and each time I have tried to go off of them have had problems. Does anyone know how you can successfully get off of these aweful drugs?
Thank you to you................ for replying to my question on depression. I have been a member of naturalcures.com for about a year and have read alot on different illnesses.....................yes it seems like the more meds you take , the more toxic you become. What kind of cleanses are you talking about......................colon,liver,etc?
Thanks for your reply.........................yes it does suck when you have to take meds like antidepressants. Right now I am on lamotrigine and seroquel.................don't know if you have ever heard of those.
All these drugs that they perscribe these days also have so many side effects .
When you weaned off your meds.....................did you do it on your own or with doctors assisting you?

Many ailments can be traced to bad diet. Give yourself a healthy chance by using an internal cleanse. It is recommended for a first time cleanse you should try a three month cleanse. Doing this and improving your diet to a more vegetarian diet, including lots of good water, fresh fruits and vegetables will give you a better chance to reduce the need for pharmaceuticals. You can get good information at, www.DrNatura.com for top quality internal cleanses.
Good luck
Hi Michelle , ezmee , and Bill
Thanks for all of your input on this matter....................all of the info that you are giving me will help me in the long run. I know doctors are very reluctant to tell you these things , because they want you to be on their drugs............therefore you will continue to be a patient and more money in their pockets. It will take some time to get off of the meds but I plan to do the cleanses and also the supplements. Thanks again!

Debbie,
It is a good idea to seek out a health care professional who understands natural foods, probiotics and herbs before undertaking anything that may be an extreme change from your normal diet. At least get an opinion so you understand what your overall health is and what you can do to make it better.
Best of luck

A good healthy diet goes a long way in helping you feel better. Small steps at a time. Seek out a Doctor that understands natural cure methods they are called Naturopathic Doctors. A good nutritionist can help get your diet under control. Also an herbalist can help aid in getting off the medications you are on, just remember to consult a Doctor before making any serious changes so you can make the changes with confidence. Good luck
