I can tell you what has been working best for me on my journey so far.....

1. Switching to a mostly raw food diet (also vegan and gluten free)
2. Learning to become more aware of my thoughts and change the negative ones to positive ones (takes time)
3. Herbology

These are the three things that stick out in my head at the moment. If I think of anything else later I will post again.

In the past nomatter matter how terrible i felt i could alway rely on family guy and southpark. There has never been a day where those two couldn't make me laugh. I was at a bar and i ended buying some random guy drinks just because his name was eric cartman.

I'm not suprised. I could tell from our past discussions that we probably don't have anything in common. LOL. No worries.

Food that cause anxiety with me are anything with MSG and other flavor inhancers that are in processed foods. Any high tyramine containing foods like aged cheese, cured meats or lunch meats, yeasts and yeast extracts, miso soups or canned soups, chocolate, sauerkraut. With some people tyramine containing foods will cause your heart rate to increase. So I'd look up a list of those foods and try to eliminate them and see what happens.

Why do skinny people get depressed? It's mind boggling to me and i can't understande it. Whenever i'm at a good healthy weight my depression is gone. 100% of the time. For me being 200 is a great weight. The more weight i gain back the worst i feel. Whenever i talk to people who are skinny and depressed i can't understand it. I want to ask em. What are you depressed about? Get up. Can somebody please enlighten me?

You can be "skinny" and still have a TON of health problems (which can contribute to depression). In fact, being too skinny can also be unhealthy. And actually, I know from personal experience that becoming "too skinny" when you used to love your body can be depressing in and of itself.

These are the things that I use. More leafy green veggies (salads with a lot of veggies on top) for anxiety, because leafy green veggies and other vegetables contain a lot of magnesium. Any other kind of stress relief is good too, like warm baths and massages. Some of the best things for depression are epa/dha (essential fatty acids, fish oil), and walking. The fish oil should be good quality and purified.

Clean out your gut first. All good health starts with the digestive system. A toxic bowel will not absorb much of the goodies you feed it, and render the whole process pretty useless. Sometimes people get over their depression just from doing this alone.

Eat foods with high vitamin D content. Vitamin D is the 'happy' vitamin. These include: butter, eggs, cod liver oil, liver, lard. (All from organic, free ranging pasture fed sources of course) .

Make sure your diet includes good cholesterol, Its needed to synthesize the sunlight into vitamin D.

I like Che's post; watch shows which make you laugh every time. My favourites are Father Ted and Trailer Park Boys.
