There are many filters available for chlorine removal. There are those which have Vitamin C in them which are cheaper and effective. There are also those with KDF technology.
Having used both effectively, choice is yours

I agree with Roy on this one (won't wonders cease?). Vitamin C shower filters are excellent for neutralizing chlorine from shower water. It's also great for skin and hair health. I've been using these for 3-4 years--about one filter every year.
Aside from the fact that vitamin C is used to clean public chlorine spills, Federal studies prove that vitamin C actively works to neutralize chlorine (can you believe the Feds got one right?).
Also, I have a 700-gallon pond in the yard and every now and then I top off a couple hundred gallons with a garden hose due to heat evaporation. I purchase effervescent vitamin C tablets (1000 mgs) specifically for this purpose, 1 tablet to every 100 gallons. I actually keep the fish in the water as I fill the pond, allowing a tablet to slowly drip into the spray. I've never lost a fish using this method--but I've lost them without using the vitamin C tabs in the spray!
