I just found out that a lady friend of mind (age 79) was diagnosed with stomach cancer about 2 months ago. After giving her a "lecture" on eating healthy and all, she told me that she can't eat raw veggies because she has severe stomach issues (mainly diverticulitis) ..... that she has been hospitalized many times before for. How does one eat raw if their digestive system can't handle it? Let me know if anyone has any ideas on this, please!
Well I went over to curezone and researched the colonics a bit.... It sounds like with the condition her colon is in Colonics are contra-indicated since it might blow out the weak lining. They all say to stick with the enemas. I thought Melissa is gone from here ... don't know how to contact her.
There are quite a few people posting positive, helpful tips for people to read. Take Sandy and Merilyn for example, they both post some great things that yield amazing results. I know from my own personal experience that the things they are talking about are correct. They are posting facts, information, pictures, videos and more to help people out. Not only are they posting more useful information than anyone else on the forum, but they do it in an entertaining way. Is there something wrong with that?
Wendi, is some one holding a gun to your head and forcing you to read anything? How do you justify that anyone is "cramming" anything down your throat? It doesn't make sense. It honestly makes you sound like you are jealous that you didn't figure these things out first and post them yourself. Have you ever even tried or researched the things that they are posting about or are you just negative by nature about things that you don't understand?
I have personally tried most of these things out myself and found all of the ones I have tried to be true. I have also researched a ton of information (thousands of hours worth of research), and all of the information shows the same thing. Take for example the book Prescription For Natural Cures by James F. Balch, M.D., it is one of the top books for natural cures on the market. When you read the cures listed in there, they all say to eat more raw fruits and vegetables for curing diseases. I could list a whole lot more of books, authors and other sources that all say the same thing. Maybe instead of thinking of it as someone "cramming" information down your throat, you should be thankful that someone is trying to share the answers with you that you haven't found on your own. I have read about how you are having trouble maintaining weight on phases 3 and 4 of the HCG Protocol, but when someone makes a suggestion to you, you seem to get angry. Maybe you should try it for 2 weeks (honestly without cheating), and then form an opinion on it based on the results. I bet you would be pleasantly surprised rather than a "negative Nancy" about it.
I am not angry or upset, but rather just pointing out that maybe you should swallow your pride and give it a shot. "Don't knock it until you try it" as they say. As Merilyn said before we should all tip back a green smoothie and be happy, that's a great idea. :D
Marilyn, I have been a member since August, 2007. I just haven't posted anything until recently. I have a lot of respect for you Marilyn because you have posted a lot of good information.
My point is that Wendi was asking for help for maintaining her weight, then got upset because she didn't like the answer of eating more raw foods. Wendi posted in her blog that I was following (until she deleted me from her friends list), and never once did she put that she was drinking green smoothies. Now however she posted above that she drinks them all the time. She posted in her blog that she was eating a lot of meat products, but couldn't figure out why she was having trouble maintaining her weight. However now she posted below that she doesn't have a problem with maintaining her weight. Which is it? Double talk is confusing to me, which is one of the reasons I quit following politics so closely.
When Sandy put up a post about not eating meat, Wendi jumped all over saying that she agreed with all the meat eaters. Now that this post is up and there are a lot of people saying that they want to cut back on meat, she now says that is best.... um, I am getting confused. The answers seem to sway with which ever way the wind is blowing.
She deleted both Sandy and I from her friends list because we were telling her to eat more raw food to solve her problem. However now she is saying that she can't seem to get any positive help. Again, I am confused because I like to get consistent answers.
Wendi seems like a nice girl, but she can't seem to give consistent answers. I would just like some clarification because it seems rather confusing to me getting multiple answers that go different directions about the same topic.
Who's being negative? Sandy and I are just posting facts. I was a hardcore meat eater until my eyes were opened by facts. We have just been trying to share those same facts with everybody else, since this is a health-based forum we thought people might want to know why they are having health issues.
The only negativity I have seen has come from you to be honest. I know about the private message you sent to Sandy about how you are "too sensitive and misread what is typed on the internet at times". It is your sensitivity and misreading that shows through as negativity. You read into what people are saying, and put misdirected blame on others. Yet you are the one who is deleting friends and pointing fingers. You asked for help, you got suggestions for help, and then got pissed about the answer. Then you went on to say that no one is trying to help you. That's a lie. Would you like some of the posts to be put up for everyone to read?
Sandy and I are very direct and to the point. We don't have time for games and double talk. If you ask for help and get it, then you can't run around saying that no one is helping you. It's like the boy who cried wolf. Maybe people aren't sending you so many suggestions because you just disregard the information anyway. It doesn't make sense.
Sandy told you to eat more vegan food, and you got pissed about it. Marilyn told you to eat more vegan food and you say it is an inspiration. Um, why is it believable from one person, but the same information from another person is not? Can you clarify that for me?
Just a note to everyone. I expect people to treat one another with respect. I am looking through all the forum topics and will begin banning people liberally until things get back into shape. I'm very disappointed in the way many people have behaved lately on this site and it is quite embarrassing that I need to even ban a single person.
