Hi, I would like you to give me some good easy smoothies recepies I could do with my blender. I'm not a big fan of milk but I'M willing to try goat milk if needed.
I put about 2 cups of milk in a blender, I buy the fresh mixed berries (black berries, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries) and put about a cup of those, add a banana, and i usually cut 2 apples taking out the core but one is okay too, and I put about a cup of yogurt. Mind you this recipe fills almost the whole blender. and after each item u add after the milk you need to blend it to prevent the whole thing from getting stuck!!!!!

Thank you very much for all the info, as for the peel of fruits, can I put all the fruits in my blender? For bananas i take the peel off but what about apples, pears and mangos? Oranges and lime?
BTW I just drank my first green smoothie, it's so good. I discovered a new way of eating healty.

This might not be what you're looking for but here is a good one that is fairly simple and protein rich.
4-5 whole frozen strawberries
2 handfuls fresh green spinach
1 - 2 TB cottage cheese (this gives it the smooth creamy taste)
1 TB cocoa
2-3 TB water
Two to three packets of sweetner (Stevia)
I put the fruit down first, pour the water on and then cram everything else in there. It looks disgusting but it is really like a chocolate shake. You can't even taste the spinach!
Some things instead of milk could be almond, rice, hemp, soy(gmo?) milk. I use almond milk in smoothies when i can.
berries, sambazon acai pack, banana, almond milk.
oranges, with an avocado.
apple pear berries coconut water
some supplements i put in them are, coconut oil, bee pollen, cacao beans, raw protein powders, maca, spirulina.
get crazy, that would be cool if there was a place on the site with a list of everyones personal smoothie recipies
I used this one to beat cancer 20 years ago and I have been making it every morning since then, that is why you see no animal products.
The Morning Drink Recipe
Fifteen minutes before you make this drink, have at least 12 to 16 ounces of water (distilled is best) to start the cleansing process of this drink.
Ingredients: (make fresh every day and vary the amounts to suit your taste and appetite)
-8 ounces (plus or minus) of pure water (distilled is best) and 8 ounces of organic juice
(apple, grape, etc.)
-1 banana.
-Pinch of cayenne pepper more or less to taste (a natural healing herb).
-A chunk of ginger; thumb size (a natural healing herb).
-Fresh seasonal fruit; pear, grapes, peach, (organic if you can get it leave peel on).
-A quarter to a half a lemon, include a small amount of peel if you like, very good for
both the liver and gallbladder.
-Add a tablespoon of coconut, olive or peanut oil (cold pressed) for your skin and joints.
-Put the above in a blender, liquefy and drink.
*Adjust the above to suit your taste and the amount you make.
Just had my Whey Gold Standard Protein 100% shake with organic omega 3, blueberries, strawberry's, pineapple, one teaspoon organic peanut butter, 1/2 cup oats, half cup of water and other half nonfat milk. Hmmmm
2 eggs (free range organic of course)
6oz Home made yogurt made from raw milk (preferable, but organic yogurt of any sort is good)
4oz mixed organic berries, fresh or frozen
Dash agave or maple syrup (or small amount stevia) to sweeten
2 oz salba or chia seeds
Blend together with blender and drink immediately.
This has plenty of protein and omega 3 from both the eggs and the seeds. Tastes delicious, very low carb - excellent breakfast if you are short of time! Takes about 2 mins to prepare!!

I've been eating alot of kale mixed with banna. Its pretty good. I don't recomend eating kale unless you have a high performance blender. Kale is really hard to eat. For those of you who don't have high performance blenders you could substitute kale with lettuce, spinach or any other green vegetable. Its not bad.
