I'm hoping someone can help me out. I received some HCG from Canada, HuCoG, 10,000 iu. It came with Sodium Chloride to mix with, I don't see how you can get 40 injections. Can you mix it with the bacteriostatic water instead?? I plan on starting the diet again on January 1st. I would call the pharmacy, but I can't understand them very well.

Yes, use bacteriostatic water to mix it with. Good luck!

I also received the 10000 IU from Canada, HuCoG. I am waiting for a lady named Rhonda on this webstie who is an RN to respond to my email about what to do with this, step by step. I am confused because of the large amount. It has been hard to find info on the dilution of 10000IU. I know that the Sodium Chloride that came with it isn't to be used at all. I was told to toss it out and use bacteriostatic water. I am uncertain as to how much water to add to the 10000 IU and if I have to use the air tight vial or if I can just mix it up in a brown bottle and suck out the 175 cc each day with the syringes.

So have you started and if so can you share with me what you did?
thanks
kristy

I would suggest using 200 IU's of HCG instead of the 175 IU's. It is sooooooo much easier to calculate and to measure for. There is hardly any difference anyway. (When a woman is pregnant, she manufactures over 600,000 IU's of HCG PER DAY!!! So you see, using 200 IU's of HCG is only a drop in the bucket.

There is a big difference in amounts between IU's and CC's. You do have a syringe that has CC's on it, don't you? If you don't, you will need to get one.
You would use one CC of Bac. water for every 1,000 IU's of HCG. This would give you five injections at 200 IU's a piece per 1,000 IU's of HCG.
If you had 5,000 IU's of HCG, you would mix it with 5 CC's of Bac. water. This would give you 25 injections at 200 IU's of HCG.
For 10,000 IU's of HCG, you would mix it with 10 CC's of Bac. water. This would give you 50 injections, at 200 IU's of HCG.
If using insulin needles and syringes, which is easier and simpler to do, and the way I have calculated it for you to do, that for most people, using the insulin needles means you never even feel the stick.
To calculate the amount of HCG to withdraw from your brown mixing and storing bottle, after the HCG is mixed with the bac. water for injecting, an amount of 200 IU's of HCG will measure out to exactly the number of 20 on your insulin syringe. Once it measures up to the number of 20 on the insulin syringe, that is when you will have the proper amount of 200 IU's for injecting. If you withdraw too much mixed HCG into the insulin syringe, just squirt the rest of it back into the brown bottle you are using to mix and store in. Then cap the brown bottle you are using for storage and keep it in the fridge. Then, for the next day, just withdraw from it again, each time using a new needle and syringe.
Hope you can understand this info, if I need to be any clearer, just ask. The RN you are looking for has not been on the site that I know of for quite some time. Good luck!!

I'd also like to mention that whatever amount of Bac. water you use to dilute the powdered form of HCG with, just make sure you minus that same amount of water from the total amount of water you are using to mix with.
And, make sure that the insulin needles you have will measure up to 50 units. When using a 50 unit insulin syringe, the number 20 on it will represent 200 IU's of HCG when you fill it to the number of 20 on the syringe.

Where did you get it in Canada?

Terry, I am in the same situation. I can't understand why they don't send instructions! Anyway, I was right with you until you made the statement below. Can you clarify this? Also, I also got the sodium chloride with my purchase. Are you saying that I need to go to the pharmacy and buy bacterial water and throw out the sodium chloride?

Hi,
Okay, will help if I can.
For instance, if you had 5000 IU's of HCG, it takes a total of 5 CC's of bacteriostatic water, in total, to mix in with it. If you use one CC of bac. water to mix with the HCG powder to turn it to liquid, you would then transfer this amount to your vial you will be using to inject from. This means that you still have four more CC's of bac. water left to mix in with the rest of your HCG solution. So, one CC of bac. water plus 4 more CC's of bac. water equals 5 CC's of bac. water mixed in with your 5000 IU's of HCG.

Yes, you need to buy the bac. water to mix with your HCG. It has a kind of preservative in it to make it last. Do not mix the sodium chloride and bac. water together. I've never used the sodium chloride. So, it may take a few more days, but wait for the bac. water to arrive.
Hope this helps you.
