Help Me Do Something
I think most of us here are aware of the dangers of vaccinations, especially the new H1N1 vaccine. But, most of the general public is not. I don't believe in trying to talk anyone into anything, but what I do believe in is providing people with accurate information so they can make their own informed decision.
Tonight is trick-or-treat in my neighborhood, with every piece of candy(raisin boxes, I'm the "un-cool" mom) that I give out, one of these flyer's is going in their bag. Please help me spread the word. We are running out of time. My children's school has a vaccination clinic scheduled for next week.

I taiked to my daughter about not getting the flu shots .... showed her the info ...! But still , her doctor recommended the flu shot for her AND my two young grandchildren ..GRRRR ...! She remembered the info I gave her and told the doc that she would get the shot ...and if no side effects ...she would get the shots for my grandchilden. Well .... 4 hours after getting the shot ..my daughter was sick as a dog ..and has been sick for over two weeks ..! She called me and let me know ...that there is NO WAY that they are giving that shot to my grandchildren ..HOOO RAAAY ...! I think now ..she may listen to ..dear ol Dad ..LOL ..!
Anyway ..good idea about the handout flyer.
Lets spread the word ...!

It's one thing if the adult chooses to do it, but the children never have a choice. I am happy that your daughter 'saw the light' Will send lots of loving light for a speedy recovery!! YAY!!!

I too have been noted as an 'uncool' mom on trick or treat nite (I use to put vegetables in bags!) (I mostly did it for the laugh!)
I have been looking for a way to get this information out to the people who truly don't know and would want this.

I think that is a great Idea. My son is autistic and has delays and I found out that children with delays can have an even worse reaction to the H1N1 vaccine.

yeah i seen that video on youtube with the cheerleader who can only walk backwards now cause she got a flu shot and is pretty much (retarded?) man is she a gorgeous girl. her life is ruined now.

That's a great idea Robyn. I take the same approach you do as far as not pushing people. I sent out a mass email about the swine flu vaccine to everyone I know with links and information and encouraged them to forward it if they wished. I always explain to people that I am just providing them with some information so that they can make their own informed decision.
I don't have any Trick or Treaters where I live but good luck with your endeavor. :)

This doesn't have to be a trick-or treat project. The flyer's will work for any situation where you have access to a group of people. I put them in my chiropractors office and the health food store, left them at the firehouse, and passed them out at a football game. You get the idea. Be creative.

Another little fact-toid that really gets people attention.....Baxters Austrian-based science team led by Otfried Kistner filed the provisional application for the H1N1 vaccine in August 2007, reports CLG, almost two years before the HIN1 virus appeared in April 2009 and which the Paris based World Organization for Animal Health reported had never been seen before.
