I believe that I have been scammed
Okay...I think I have been scammed by a company called Lipaphen RX that sells an Acai Berry cleanse supplement. Soooo...what can I do? I have tried to call them to cancel my next shipment and nobody answers...I tried to research them on the internet and find their website and I can't find anything except for one review a lady wrote about them saying she ordered from them, tried to cancel, and she is still getting charged. Should I just block my debit card and get a new one so I won't be charged again? Any suggestions?

Call your bank and they handle it for you. If you were charged and didn't receive the product, they will give you your money back. The burden of proof is on the vendor and not you.

Try contacting the bank where you have your debit card and asking them to deline any payment requests by that company. Or at least ask your debit card company what the procedure is for you to stop them from paying. Also contact a Better Business Bureau or the Attorney General's office for your state and file a complaint with them, or ask them what you can do about this. You can usually find information about both the BBB and your Attorney General's office online.

Sarah, that's a shame, I can't believe these ruthless people, scamming innocent people. Please cancel your card, or just report it to the bank, so they won't let the charge go through. let us know how it works out.

Go to your state web site online. Find out the office of the comsumer fraud. Report this as soon as possible.
EX: If you are in Montana, type in the address bar Montana.gov
send an e-mail and call to get the procedure for reporting.

I tried reporting it to the BBB and my attorney general and I have to give them the mailing address of the company I got it from. The thing is...they do not have a mailing address listed...only the city and state. Grrr

Okay, now I contacted my bank, and the lady said I had to close my debit card. Thenn....after talking the lady in charge, she said since I had already authorized the company to take from my account, that there is nothing I could do about it. If they charge me again then I can dispute it and see if I can send it back.

If your bank won't help, close your account and change banks. A new bank might even give you a toaster for opening an account.
