Is anybody going to the G.I.N even't on august 8 in Ventura california?
Let me know if you want' to go. If you live in the sf bay area we can car pool. I'm pretty sure i'll be able to get my own hotel room but in case you end up needing somebody to share a hotel room with i promise i won't stay up all night playin X box while your trying to sleep.

I'm trying to get to the Chicago meeting. The train schedule is a bit iffy, so ima have to stay in a cheap $33 hotel. the hotel sounds sketchy. especially that they don't have any pics to display of it.

I wish i could find a cheap $33. I'm paying $260 for a one bed at the marriot in ventura. The one the event''s going to be held. I just posted an ad on the craigslist ride share to try and get a ride. Homefully somebody will respond by friday otherwise i'll have to ride grey hound. Grey freakin sucks. I used to take me 13 hours to get from san deigo to san francisco. Riding grey hound is torture.

Really thats a damn great price. Shit man I just shelled out $435 for a flight to Chicago and thats it. I don't have any hotel reservations or nothing set up. These coming weekend trips will certainly be trips well remembered. I partially wish i would have waited to book the Chicago trip by air.
If i had known bus fare was so cheap I would have just simply booked Cali this week and then leave to chicago from cali. GAH could have saved money, but i'm sure after this Grey hound trip I'll be happy to be boarding Air.

LMAO speaking of Grey hound i just booked a trip like right now to leave tomorrow at 9:30 pm to arrive in California at 12:10 am aug 7th. OMG what an Adventure this is going to be. Hopefully i will be able to take a local bus from LA to Ventura. BTW the trip is about 20 hours O_O.
I also just sent in my registration to GIN to attend the event. I certainly hope they get back to me before tomorrow because once i'm in Cali i'm going to have find arrangements to computer access.(no laptop) Btw Che since you know the area Well could you send me your number Either in message or something. I do have some friends who live in LA however in terms of GIN stuff i'd like to be able to collaborate with you or some other member who will be attending the event. In case I CAN"T get to a computer by the 8th.

I know. I gotta go buy my grey hound ticket tommorow. On only have to go 9.39 miles from the station to the actual event. Were are you traveling from? I'm i reading it right? 3 hours?

LOL Dallas, texas to LA Cali is about 20 hours O_O! When I arrive in California do you know of any local buses that could take me to ventura. LA is only 30 minutes to an hour away correct?
IF local buses is a no go I'm either going to start hiking or have this Girl friend of mine take me from LA to Ventura. Worst case Scenario Taxi fare. >_< Regardless this shall be one exciting adventure!

If your taking grey hound you can get off at a station in Oxnard california. From oxnard the hotel is only 9.39 miles away. But yeah. Only 30 to an hour driving.

yea it's already booked to LA so hopefully my friend can pick me up, chill and have her take me in the morning to the meeting. Which I AM sure will fair out nicely since I am going to be in Cali for a week I can stay with her then that Friday the 14th I'll fly out from LAX to Chicago. In Chicago I'll be their for a couple of days and return back to Dallas on the 17th.
Business and pleasure vacation doesn't get any better then this. HAHA and this is only the beginning. I may not get to hit Germany but the Land of Swiss cheese shall be certainly attained next. Then again Germany may be next on my radar. o0o0o0o So many goodies I LOVE IT!

Yes indeed that is the X factor for me currently. Depends on how much i make from GIN, when i get money from my father for school and whatever other way money will magically appear in my life.
It is a Toss up for sure, then again i have been vibrating as well that i want to travel Europe. hmmmm only TIME will tell, and based on that factor things always seem to happen at the most perfect time for me. Actually it seems as if my goods come in at the last minute when it requires the most faith to the very end.
Can't afford to let doubt seed in my mind for to long or else it will try to blossom. However it never last long if at all. Changing it is merely a smile away! Expensive maybe but possible quite yes. As long as you want to travel it shall come in. Somehow some way trust me i'm living my dreams everyday man.
