Community Cures.com

All right members of Community Cures what do you think of this?

William Banks(3rd yrmd) yea, you who have read his post know who he is......not a KT fan, has issues with some natural cures and has posted his opinions about this. Probably not very well liked in this community BUT......from every post I have read, regardless of whether I agreed with what he said, I never read any comments he posted that violated the Terms of Service Agreement we all -checked- when we joined.

He has been banned for life!

I'm not ok with this are you? I don't think anyone should be banned from this site because they have an unpopular opinion or they piss off a friend of the administrator of this site. In my opinion that means none of us are going to be able to trust this site to provide an honest open forum for discussing the validity of any of the varied issues we discuss here.

I think it is an under statement to say....this is very hypocritical coming from a site founded by a person who has complained so much about censorship.

Well said Deni! :) (to your post that includes the Teach/Learn picture...not sure where this comment is going to go, lol!)

I know what's up with Che.....
William attacked him personally. It's easy to think you won't take something personally until they S*P*E*L*L out your name directly and accuse you of something you know you are not. It takes a big person not to not fight back with your own personal jabs.

William basically accused Che of being a plant. (Getting on here an promoting a product to raise it's sales.) Anyone who knows Che and bothers to look at his profile page, knows he's tried everything under the sun and will tell you whether works or it's just plain crap. I love it...he's my guinea pig.

Not taking things personal comes with experience and time, most people are not lucky enough to be born with that quality, at least not me. Che's "da man" and he "is" my friend. No principle defending here.

Yes Robyn, I agree that it can take a lot of time to learn to not take things personally. It is something I have fairly recently discovered as most of my life I was super-sensitive and took things WAY too personally. Once you start figuring it out though, it is so free-ing! I cast absolutely no judgment on anyone who has a hard time with this! I just hope that they too can learn to escape it!

You guys are all GREAT! I love you all!
Whether we agree or disagree! (Yep, that includes YOU Che(

I do understand the challenge NOT to take things personally.
And, it certainly does take some 'reminding' (at least for me) But, I have found, that indeed, my life is so much happier when I do not take ANYthing personal. I know that I can and AM ONLY responsible for myself, not what others do or say! it just works!

Thank you all for a great discussion!

Oh, Shannon,
the pic?
I was just throwing out something more to 'think' about!
it is a favorite pic of mine.
As we 'bump' along thru life, It's a great reminder, that Everybody we come in contact with, Is an opportunity to learn and / teach. it's just how things work!

Oh, I was referring to the words you said. I was just pointing out the picture because I could tell my comment was going to get "lost" in all of the different posts and wanted to make it clear what comment I was posting on! But the picture is nice too, as are your thoughts on it! :)

oh, I 'get it' Shannon! Doh!
(soggy brain from all the rain?)
Well, I guess the point i was trying to make can be summed up by this quote (a little better than my words)

It is when you judge it to be something else that it shows up as something else in your life. Therefore, judge not, and neither condemn. For that which you judge, judges you; and that which you condemn will condemn you. Yet that which you see for what it really is will see you for what you really are. And therein will be found your peace.

This site is free to you and I. Ning is only free to the creator with Nings choice of advertisement on the sides ... this is a paid for Ning site now and has been for a good while. Natural Cures is "renting" a HUGE amount of space here.

Tim related it to a restaurant ... BUT put yourself in Natural Cures' shoes. YOU are paying for a site for people to discuss alternative healing. Where would YOU draw the lines of disagreement and what would YOU do about those not only disagreeing with alternative topics, but touting Big Pharma, FDA/ect propaganda?

Into this lifestyle almost 4 yrs now, I've been active online with it since day 1. I've been a life-time member of naturalcures.com well over 3 yrs. I am a moderator in several forums at curezone.org. I have my own holistic Ning site. Tim and those of us who have been around KNOW that there are PAID holistic-internet-trolls ... their sole purpose is to stir up sites such as this ... they are professionals, they know how to win support.

My advice? Let it go and get back to readReadREADing. You're here about deprogramming the junk aggressively put into your brain over your life-time and re-filling that space with good clean info.

Pizchuckle:
I don't think William was an internet troll. I had/have contact w/him outside of Natural Cures, but you're right about those types, and they have been on this site before. I actually am quite amused when they show up. I think they get more than they bargain for dealing w/the "very informed" members of this community. But, as far as the issue w/William. It's over. Time to move on. He can come back if he wants or not.
But, you bring up a point I was trying to get across earlier. This is a "sponsored" site. So not all the information or the members are legitimate or unbiased. This is a advertisement/profit driven space. As much as there may be "pharm. trolls" running around in here so will there be "natural cures scam trolls" as well. Tim's point should be well heeded by any members reading this. Always cross reference what you read in here with "other" alternative health and natural healing cures. Don't trust what you find in here to be 100% accurate.

Absolute, about not putting all the eggs in one health basket, Robyn. Those that have been around me for long have heard readReadREAD, ad nauseum. I made my own choices and lived for the effort! I can't make other's choices.

As you clear the toxins you find that your instincts about things improve:
wishing you and everybody good food, good environment, good heatlh!

PlzChuckle, If you read any of my posts you would see that not once did I say anything against Alternative Medical Cures,,and not once did I mention or promote Big Pharma or the FDA.
Should you have read my posts you would have seen that. I expressed a view on a cure for Cancer you state that because you have been around with your own site you KNOW there are paid trolls to stir it up. (there are on both sides of the coin)
I hope your not accusing-me since I was not around to defend myself , but you carefully have planted this in everyone's mind now.
I am looking for something, I don't know what yet till I find it, I am an Individual with low batteries on my keyboard so before I'm gone I will say that from where I'm coming from nobody can pay me to sell there ideas or follow propaganda.
With a stroke of your brush you some up where I'm coming from and accuse anyone who supported the idea of free speech or spoke up against my banning
of being deceived by a professional paid troll who came here to stir it up.
GIN is doing some good from what I see , and that's motivating individuals to improve themselves and learn motivational techniques to improve themselves . So I don't agree with the politics of it ,I can't say it's not doing some good .(see I'm flexible and able to change my mind)
I see a claim of a cure for cancer ,misleading numbers and I think some information is questionable, you wright me off as a paid troll..
Your site has Zero tolerance ,thats one sided. Tim said my disagreeing to something is psychotic ranting.
There are threads on this site it really like, Recipes for Healthy Living,,great ,Reading Labels,,a hobby of mine, Apple Cider Vinegar-Amazing..know by me for years,
Just a question barefoot? anything to do with Robert Barefoot's "Coral Calcium"
My reason for coming here, exposure to things that are not considered main stream,
Why... personal reason, can something be done, or could there..
I'm 100% in-favor of Alternative Medical treatments and cures. I'm 100% against all the company's and people who are taking advantage of the public's want and need to get back to basic cures without reliance on Big Pharma as the only answer.
If there is money to be made dishonest company's pop up with claims and treatments that are scams ,fancy ad's with picture's of healthy families flowers, happy happy, joy joy in the yard but there selling promising false hope to people when there most vulnerable some money making item.
Yes I'm guilty of being in school ,but my motives are not defending any Phara or AMA, when it comes to getting ill we are all in the same boat. Alternative treatments are 1000's of years old, most modern meds are still based on herbs, some cures are waiting still in the canopies of the trees in the rain forest. (untill McDonalds cuts them down to raise cheap beef)
I can't sit back when I see someone that is scamming,,where there is a market (which is massive now) there are more frauds out there then real Alternative Healers. and anyone can call themselves a naturalistic doctor mail order $499.00
Ok everyone can yell at me now..
