So I had been getting dizzy every day for a few weeks (after eating tofu scramble w/ nut. yeast for breakfast everyday) and then I stopped eating it and I stopped getting dizzy. To be sure, I had it yesterday and I got dizzy again! About 3 hours after I eat it. Has this happened to anyone else? Do I have bad yeast or is it old?
Yes Almond, Rice, Oat, Hazelnut or Hemp (if you can find it) are all better for you. It sounds like you care enough to try things. Try tempeh also. If you have done soy before you know you can cube it or slice it or crumble it. Same with tempeh and I like it much better. I make stew, tacos, spaghetti and tempeh bugars. All very tasty. : )
I must agree with everyone saying that soy is bad for you. They won't even feed it to dogs or cows. I surely won't eat it. And it has nothing to do with being anti-veg. I was a vegetarian for a year and got all the protein, ect. I needed from nuts and greens. In fact, many of us here are vegetarian or even raw vegan, but most of us don't eat soy.
Hi Jessica, I also have heard soy is bad for you. Our digestive systems have a hard time braking it down. I was like you Did not want to give it up because I could not see the harm but my naturopath told me some of my problems may come from eating and drinking soy. So I stopped It took about 14 days for it to get out of my system but after about 9days I started to feelgood again. I do tempeh.I like it a lot better than soy and is a good source of what we need in our daily life.
Almond milk, oat milk, hazelnut milk or hemp milk are all good instead of soy. I had to adjust my eating habits to make my health tip-top again. You can too. At least try it for 14 days. That was my eye opener. I thought I was so sure of myself. Now I am so grateful I did it for me.
I understand this. I've just changed my diet so many times and before I had any soy, I still felt the same way. Also, sometimes I don't have any soy for days and it's the same thing. I'm being sent to a narcolepsy specialist so hopefully that will be able to help with something.
I still can't help but thinking I have some type of yeast problem.
I would get dizzy when my iron was very low. Have you been sick lately this could cause your blood to become weak. You could also try taking b12 as well as finding iron supplementation.
You may also have a candida infection so you could also try taking candida tinctures, oregano oil and olive leaf capsules.
If you read in the book, disease / illness is cause by 2 things. Nutritional deficiencies or you developed something. I personally think you are low in nutrients, and you have been eating wrong foods like soy, which you need to eliminate completely. Most everyone is low in nutrients, including me, so join the club.
I thought you said your dizziness went away after you eliminated the yeast? Did the dizziness go away? Have you had your vitamin d levels checked? What have you had checked regarding vitamin levels? What brand of multivitamin supplement do you take? It should be a whole food supplement, not an isolate. You need to make sure you get enough calcium. Calcium is very important. Spinach and broccoli are good sources.
I've had every single vitamin level checked. The dizziness now comes and goes without me even eating yeast.
I'm not low in nutrients. I eat spinach every single day.
The neurologist thinks he has figured it out. he thinks I have seizure activity in my brain, causing headaches, dizziness and all the other symptoms I've been having. He thinks this after I had a seizure a week ago from being on a diff. med.
