Permanent Weight Loss and Reset "Set Point" w/o HCG

I'd like to hear from those who have successfully lost weight and Kept It Off WITHOUT HCG. I'd like to know what worked for you. I'd also like to know if your weight "set point" changed and you can relax and enjoy life (like thin people seem to be able to do) or if you must constantly be on "fat patrol" lest you gain back everything you worked so hard to loose!

LOL I just had to respond to this even though I did hcg. LOL I wear a size 6 jean now and a S/M top. I was wearing a size 32 before. Anyway, I've been maintain for about 8 or 9 months. I maintain counting WW points, eating 99% organic food. BUT, lol, I am always on "fat patrol." LOL I do no enjoy food like I used too. I look at food and think, "Oh, man, look at that food. I wonder how that food has been prepared? I wonder how many points that is? I wonder how much fat they used to prepare that? How much sugar is in there, or is it prepared with raw honey? LOL I doubt it?

I don't take pleasure in food unless, I know what it's made of and that it is within the points allowed. I don't eat mixed food, lol. I only go out to eat about 1 or 2 a month, and it must be a high-end steak house where the beef is grass-fed and the food is prepared on the premises and everything is served seperately, not mixed, and not a lot of food on my plate. A little bit of food, well-prepared, and nicely presented. And, still, I'm counting points, and looking at everything and asking how things are prepared and if the chef can please prepare it differently, but at this steak house that I go to, things are prepared in very little fat and I can get a dessert prepared without gluten and sugar--the chef will use Agave nectar. Anyway, yes, I'm ALWAYS on "fat-patrol!" LOL

LOL. I would think a big part of it would be your age and just how thin you are wanting to be. It's a lot easier for a girl in her early 20's to "relax and enjoy life" (when it comes to food) compared to a woman in her 30's or 40's.

I was 230 and now have been 150 for close to 2 years. Going raw vegan has helped and juicing hae helped reduce cravings for food. Adequate water also as the same receptor that tell you your hungry is the same one that tells you are thirsty. walking an hour a day keep your fat burning mechanizm revved up for 12 hours. Obviously since i had battled cancer i have a littltle more motivation to stay on track with my heealth, however i struggle feeling a tad underweight but nothing i have tried helps me put back on pounds. My diet is really keyed in and i dont waiver much at all and my set point seems to hold seady without any fluctuation. Really I think weight fluctuation is from bad foods like dead cooked foods that sit in your colon to long. Heavy meat and processed foods will sit and clog your intestine and give your tummy a bluge look to it. It isnt really fat it is an enlarged swollen intestine, a perfect spot for parasites to take hold and give you false hunger sensations. I could keep going, so one last thing is adequate Iodine for youe thyroid, the regulator of your metabolism.
