Lol yea i heard about this. What ah joke. There just rubbing it in our faces now. Gettin ah little to cocky for my taste. Its like david icke says theres billions of us(being manipulated) and a relative handful of them(the ones in full knowledge of and doing the manipulateing.) there in there last days anyway. Its our time to shine.
Yes, my tongue was firmly in my cheek there. Don't know much about what's going on in Washington, but over here, he's got a very good IMAGE going.
I don't think any president will do better, or any prime minister either. Change needs to come from the people. In our society which is consumer based, we need to start talking with our money. The tiny 'organic' faction is now mainstream, for example.

I would like to apologize to everyone in this discussion. I voted for obama because he was black. I now realize being black isn't a great reason to vote somebody into presidential office. Sorry. I hope i haven't doomed our country.
lmao! Che, that is the most honest response I've heard yet. My hubby voted for him. Between him and McCain I thought he made more sense at the time. I was mostly pissed because Palin was pushing spending billions on the Alaskan pipeline and I'm like "why not put that money into technology that won't run out and won't destroy our resources?"
I didn't end up voting because I had moved and by the time time I did a change in my registration it was to late. I still had this feeling in the pit of my stomach that voting for Obama was not the right choice, even though my head said it made the most sense. Oh, how we change in a year! So yeah, voting would have been a waste of time for me anyway. Sorry if I'm not that articulate but I've been into the scotch tonight, lol.
This shows the priority that is so misplaced in today’s world.
The prize doesn't always go to the most deserving at least not here, but God has the final word!!
Irena Sendler
There recently was a death of a 98 year-old lady named Irena. During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw Ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist. She had an 'ulterior motive' ... She KNEW what the Nazi's plans were for the Jews, (being German.) Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of the tool box she carried and she carried in the back of her truck a burlap sack, (for larger kids..) She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers of course wanted nothing to do with the dog and the barking covered the kids/infants noises. During her time of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500 kids/infants. She was caught, and the Nazi's broke both her legs, arms and beat her severely. Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar, buried under a tree in her back yard. After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived it and reunited the family. Most had been gassed. Those kids she helped got placed into foster family homes or adopted.
Last year Irena was up for the Nobel Peace Prize ... She was not selected.
Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace prize for, who knows what!
Al Gore won it last year for a slide show on global warming.
In light of these recognized "accomplishments",
I'd be prouder to receive any local civic award!

Even though he's passed away i think we should give it to hitler. Hitler is far more derserving of it than obama. Since were giving them to people who don't deserve them. I'm asking the same question Hitlers asking. Why didn't bush and cheney get one? If i were bush i would be upset.
