"Spirituality"
I think there should be a spirituality tab to add topics to. I'm interested in what religions or non-religions people here practice. It seems essential to health to be spiritually healthy, as well as physically and emotionlly. I'm kind of at a cross-roads in figuring out how to go about that. Please share (without arguments here) what you believe to be a fulfilling spiritual life.

This is your reality, therefore it it true for you. However, with all due respect, what you have said here, is most definitely NOT mine. We can respect each others point of views WITHOUT being antagonistic.. Although (whether you believe it or not, does not change the fact,) WE are all connected. (Quantum Physics shows us that..That being the case, -that would make us Divine, yes? However, if you see yourself as 'separate' from GOD, then, you would not be. WE ALL came from the SAME source, whatever name you may give it, GOD, GODDESS, UNIVERSE, THE ALMIGHTY.. This "new age' stuff? PLUEEZE. It seems to ME, that you are baseing your beliefs on something your parents, their parents, their parents parents, and way back believed becuz ' someone' said it, or wrote it in a book, and called it "the Word of GOD". (That's to me says 'ignorance')
I say, do your own research.....t hat's REALLY the only way one can arrive at their OWN conclusions and beliefs.

The answer to that question is NO, that DOESN'T make you divine. Those are two completely separate things. People 'may' be connected in some way as you claim, simply because we all live on the earth, but that in turn DOES NOT make you divine. How would the fact that human beings are connected in some way by quantum physics, in turn, make a person divine, God or like God?
Therewithin lies the biggest lie of New Age beliefs. They WANT you to believe the biggest lie of all, that you are like God, or your own God. That one is the biggest lies of all. It SOUNDS great, that is why it is easy for people to fall for it, hook, line, and sinker.
If you are divine, what am I going to hear next, that you created the sun? Or am I going to hear that you created the Earth, oceans, and mountains? Is that what I am going to hear?
No, I am not believing what my parents said, or what anyone else said. I have now posted that about five times on this tread. I am believing what GOD, the creator of the Universe, said is true.
Let me make this perfectly clear. I am believing what GOD, the creator of the Universe, told me is true. You are believing what some human being wrote in a book that they created out of concepts from the Bible, twisted it to mean something that it doesn't mean, packaged it with a lot of feel good lies, in order to sell books and make themselves rich.
What do you mean by the following statement - this New Age stuff... pleeze. The beliefs that you have wrote about are called NEW AGE philosophies, and they have been around for CENTURIES. That IS what it is called - New Age.
As I wrote before, SOME of the concepts that are written about in those books, are taken right from the Bible. The authors have taken some concepts from the Bible, taken God out and the son of God, Jesus, out and added in some other things from the Bible and twisted it to mean what it really doesn't mean, and added in a bunch of feel good stuff that sounds good and that people will buy into, hook, line, and sinker, and sell millions of copies, all with the intention of making millions and moving to a desert island.
Regarding ignorance, you don't even know what the Bible is or what it says. That is ignorance. You said it first. Regarding research, I have done my own research. I have done it for over 28 years. You are the one who should do research about what the Bible states and what it is. Again, you are believing things about the Bible, and writing things about the Bible, and you don't even know the first thing about it.
Again, I do respect you as a person. No, I do not respect what you believe simply because it is a LIE. I am not trying to be rude, or offend anyone, but I have to be to the point, because that is the only way to dispel this nonsense about people being divine. That is complete and total utter nonsense.
GOD created EVERYTHING. God created the entire UNIVERSE, the EARTH, the SUN, human beings, EVERYTHING. Human beings created NOTHING, and are capable of creating NOTHING, and are NOT divine.

Thanks for the opportunity for debate. I love a great debate. However, when something is debated, it should be debated in truth.
We are both right. Your truth is your truth. If YOU believe there is a heaven and hell outside of yourself, than that is your truth. I don't believe, I KNOW, that I AM the CREATOR of MY own Reality. I have NO desire to convince you of anything (Remember the saying " Never try to teach a pig to sing, It's a waste of your time, and it annoys the pig?.)
How can you respect me, and NOt my belief's? If I AM a child of GOD (and I am) and GOD creates EVERYthing in Perfection, HOW can you not respect my beliefs?" Aren't my beliefs are part of me< therefore, a part of GOD
Heaven and Hell do exsist, but only in your mind/reality. Which makes it YOUR truth.
Religion is something that should never be debated ·(my thoughts) as, Organized religion is VERY powerful, and based upon fear. Never try to mess with someone's beliefs about their religion, i always say..So, where does that leave us in the discussion of Spirituality? HUH?

Thank you Deni. You are so right.I do not wish to offend anyone. ALL manmade religions are first grade books. They ALL teach the same core values ..that there is something higher than ourselves and to practice love, joy peace,etc ...which are all positive thoughts and/or feelings. You take all the positive things and disregard the rest. Yes people ...there is no hell, no devil, etc ....these all negative thoughts and/or feelings and have NO PLACE in heaven , paradise , or whatever utopia you believe in. You must literally THINK YOUR WAY into heaven on earth and this is done by what you believe....by positive thinking. It not not a chore ...but rather something that is fun to do. ...YOU create your own world ...rise above the illusion. We are not humans that have spiritual experiences ....we are spirtual beings having a human experience.
