Yes, I got a heads up on this site earlier in the month.

I typically scan the legal statements anyway when I'm browsing, particularly if I have to "agree" for a membership acess. It would be smart to read the fine print; you don't need to go through it with a magnifying glass, but at least get the general idea as to what you're "agreeing" to.

By the way, the cars.gov site was closed as of Aug 25th, but that's not to say that this same type of fine print isn't elsewhere on some gov't site.

Yeah, i just heard they are starting cash for appliances soon. Seems to me they are trying to get everyone to sign on to their site for one thing or another. I will be curious to see if they have a site for the appliance scam and if it has the same agreement.
