Vaccinations
Just wondering what everyone personal opinion is on childhood vaccinations...or any for that matter. My son is due for his 8 weeks vaccination in 2 more weeks and i am not sure if really want to start him with vaccinations or not. Do you think it weakens your immune system? My daughter has all her shots and is healthy as can be, rarely ever getting sick. Opinions please!

thank you thank you a million times over!!! this is what i needed, all this info. i had no idea. i will definately not be getting my soon vaccinated but as for my daughter, its too late. but i am thankful she is very healthy. thanks again everyone!

just an FYI.... your child cannot go to a daycare center or start public school without all the required vaccinations.

That is not true... At least not here in the US... I think Tanya is in Canada.. She will have to look up the laws in her country...
If you do a check on the internet - you will find general forms to print out and a lot more about School and Day care..

You can put your child in daycare , public and private schools here in the US with out immunizations.
The majority of the population just goes along with what 'they hear' or have been told'. And they actually believe it is law. I say, show me t he law, that says my child can NOT attend school with their shots. I fought many battles.(and educated many a people) My eldest started Montessori School at the age of 18 months.( None of my children have been vaccinated )and into college with out them.. There are 'waiver' forms available, Back in 'may day', if you read the 'fine print' on the vaccination form they sent home with your child, there was indeed, a place to sign for you to 'waive' immunizations. (and sometimes, they would put it on the back).
Info is out there...It just takes a little research...If the school t ells you no, it is law, have them show you the law..They just need to be educated.
