Every body that is on this mailing list is either a senior citizen, is getting close or knows somebody that is.
Most of you know by now that the Senate version
(at least) of the "stimulus" bill includes provisions for extensive rationing of health care for senior citizens. The author of this part of the bill, former senator and tax evader, Tom Daschle was credited today by Bloomberg with the following statement.
Bloomberg: "Daschle says health-care reform will not be pain free. Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them."
If this does not sufficiently raise your ire, just remember that Senators and Congressmen have their own healthcare plan that is first dollar or very low co-pay which they are guaranteed the remainder of their lives and are not subject to this new law if it passes.
Please use the power of the Internet to get this message out. Talk it up at the grassroots level. We have an election coming up in one year and nine months. We have the ability to address and reverse the dangerous direction we are heading.

What are you talking about? Who's going to be removed from their families? Are you trying to tell me there going put the whole country under martial law? Who else can we vote for? I find Palen to be very attractive but i don't want her and Mccain to be running the country. How is Mccain supposed to make dicisions that are going to impact the future when he isn't going to be in it? He's been telling the same story for 40 years. I'm a war hero. I'm a war hero. A war hero who got caught! There are alot of people in prison who got caught. I would rather vote for someone who got away. (i stole most of that from Chris Rock)

Uh... Ok, but I'm not sure how this is a bad thing.
I'm nearly 50 (and would you believe I get the occasional AARP notice!??) and aside from having quit every prescription and OTC drug a few years ago, I can barely remember the last time I saw an M.D.. I can't say I'm a gleaming example of optimal health, but I ain't falling apart neither.
The Pharma Drug Lords depend on drugging (and keeping drugged) senior citizens as a major source of their income. If seniors were forced to manage their conditions in other ways--thereby increasing awareness of natural health--how is this a bad thing?

No joke about that. KT said said in one of his books that seniors are being charged way more for their perscriptions than is needed and the drug companys are doing it on purpose. Seniors are taking more drugs and paying more for them. Since its coming out of our tax dollars(socail security) nobody is paying attention.
