Is there a remedy for feline leukemia aka tumors?

My cat was recently diagnosed with tumors. I want to help him since the expensive holistic vet I went only did x-ray and exam no treatments. Said my cat has months to live. I want to do better than that. Has anyone saved their cat from tumors?
