I use ACV for bronchitis. I had tried everything to get it broken up and while researching on the net, I found that ACV could be used for congestion. I tried it, and it was wonderous. I started coughing up things I didn't know you could cough up. I also use it for heartburn and indigestion.

I am just discovering all of the benefits of ACV for the body. My mother has always used it as a cleaning agent and for the price you pay nothing even comes close to it. I just continued the tradition. Then about 8 months ago my then 5 year old son developed what the pediatrician called water warts or contagum mulloski (sp?).

My older son had them at around the same age and he used to pick at them until they bled. I ended up taking my older son to the dermatologist who used a chemical to literally bring each and every single one of them to a blister (he had over 70 of them from head to knees). Then she put that ace bandage like tape on top of each one and instructed me to pull them off after I could see they had come to a blister making sure to take the top of the blister with the bandage. It was pure torture for both of us! It did work but, I swore that I would never do that to my child again. It was horrifying, he would just scream and cry. I think in all it took me about 5 days to get them all off of him after letting him soak in a warm bath first.

Needless to say, when my youngest son started getting them, the very last thing I was going to do was go to the dermatologist. Then a friend of mine suggested using ACV. All I had to do was tear up cotton balls, soak them ACV, place them on top of the wart and cover with medical tape to keep it moist over night. The very next morning I removed the tape with just a little bit of resistance. By that afternoon the warts had turned black and scaped over. After about 2 days you could hardly tell where they had even been. It was amazing!

I am still apologizing to my older son for what I did to him because I just didn't know any better.

this is a very interesting site, i,m on my 3rd day of apple cider before meals-- manage to get it down with a few ounces of apple juice-- I,ve lost 2 lbs, & hope it will be effective with my rosacea , but haven,t got the nerve to apply topically yet---- thanks for the info

I think it works great for arthritis also and as a digestive aid.
