I don't know to much about being a christian.. I went to church till I was 12, and I have lost my faith. I have been influenced by so many things around me, and I am scared now.

Has any one heard of the Alpha Course?? Is it any good?? I want to get my faith back, and not be scared of everything.

I would like thank you all for your prayers and words of wisdom. It has almost been a year and it is so hard. My youngest son is turning 16 on the 6th of June. well he is acting big a brave but I know he is still hurting in his heart. I know he needs more than just me (his mom) he needs a dad to guide him but right now it God and me. I just feel I have let my 2 sons down. I have not even met anyone to even think about going out or just having fun with. Now that my youngest son is turning 16 he goes to his brothers to spent the night and then the house is empty....just me and I just feel so alone. I know I need to have more faith and trust God to sent a friend to talk to and have fun with. I just feel empty.
Thank you all once again for all your prayers and thoughts.
Oh and about my mom they went in and did the heart cath and it was great news no blockage!! Thanks to God. Now on Tuesday my step dad ( my dad past away about8 years ago) anyway he has to have a heart cath , they said they seen somthing on the right center of his heart. So PLEASE pray for him. He was a smoker for about 40 + years But not anymore my mom says not smoking they walk about 2-4 hours at the mall everyday and she make him eat right. Thank you all for the comments it does help and lets me know that God does have people out there that do care for others. God Bless You All

Something that helps keeps me going is something I heard on a movie--Fear and Faith can not live in the same place !!!! This seems to work for everything I do or think I can not do. The more faith I have the easier it is to block out the fear.

I want to think you all for your prayer and words of wisdom.
I would like to say happy mothers days to all you moms out there and my prayers are with you all as well.
I would like to ask all of you to pray for my mom, Tomorrow morning she is going in the hospt. we found out she has a blockage in the middle of her heart. She is a very healthy lady she will be 70 in June and she walks 4 hours a moring and eats rights. I really want to thank you for your prayers for my boys and I and I know prayer and God is the answer so PLEASE pray for my mom, her name is Carolyn and she has God in her heart and life. She tells me that she has peace about this but we still need al the prayer we can get.

Dear Ashley,
I pray that God continues to keep you in his loving arms during this time. You are going through a lot right now and I hope that God would continue to keep you in perfect peace, sustain you and guide as to what you should do from this point forward in life. God definately has a master plan, divine plan for I encourage you to keep the because no matter what has happened God is not finished with you yet.

I am a young person who is trying to be healthy naturally and who likes to research different remedies and things. Lately I've found it to be hard to establish a boundary of participating in a practice for medicinal purposes or religious beliefs. I am a devout Christian and I don't want my zeal to be healthy to blind me and allow me to participate in something that is against God.

Ashley, I am so sorry to hear about your situation. Life can be VERY hard indeed. I can totally relate to feeling alone, and BEING alone. I will pray for you. Keep praying and have faith-there is a greater plan that we can't see sometimes, and faith is the key! A quote that helps me is, "this too shall pass". God bless!!

Hi,
My name is Ashley I have just turned 43 and have 2 sons (they are my life). I am asking everyone that reads this to keep us in your prayers.
I (we) are having a very hard time. My (now) exhusband just up and left on day last June and flew back to London England where he is from. My oldest (22)son moved out to his own 3 years ago so it is my son(will be16 this june) and I live alone. It is so hard! We did not know my ex now was leaving until the day he left. He left us with nothing!! I have went back to work in the dental world. I worked in the dental field for a few years starting in high school after school but this is different. I pray everyday that the Lord will be with us and help us through this. My son that lives with me goes out 4wheeler riding and stuff with his friend but I just go to work home and church. We have no contact with my ex and I really don't talk to but one friend. She just keeps telling me PRAY just Pray!!!!! But somethimes I just feel all alone. Please pray for us to get through all this. It has been almost a year and I am a very shy person so at work and church I really don't talk to anyone. Please keep us in your prayers. I believe in God and and I believe in prayer in numbers.
