So the first thing on Kevins list is to perform 15 colonics in 30 days. So I am a little confused what is a colonic and how do you perform it?

On another note related to this group, I am interested in doing a colon cleanse but what do I use? I know I am looking for colon cleanse stuff but what exactly is it? Please if someone could tell me that would help me find what I am looking for a lot easier. I am also looking for one that is not too expensive of whatever it is I am supposed to use.

Thanks for any help and info on this!

Hi Jen, I had my colonics done just as KT stated in his book for phase 1. It may be one listed in your area. It basically flushes out the colon from old buildup waste. It is painless and you feel really refreshed afterwards. You lie on a table on your back and they have a machine with a tube that you in rear and it has water that comes from the tube and fills you colon(stomach) up and the water is then released and all the build up waste is then flushed down into this hole in the machine. I lied there and read a book. It last for maybe 45 minutes or so. You will loose weight from this as well as feel healthier and energetic afterwards. Or as you stated you can look online and do a colon cleanse at home and it does the same by getting rid of built up waste only slower.

I had my first colonics done a couple days ago. I'm gearing up for my second tomorrow. I have read everywhere that it doesn't hurt and that there is minor discomfort. My first session HURT. When I was full with water, I felt like I was going to throw up, I started sweating and so on. As soon as I was full and released the water, I felt 100% perfect. I figured that this was dew to the loosening of toxins in my body, but I'm surprised that I haven't read about anyone else expeirencing this?????

Infact, I had my colonics therapist turn off the water when I was getting full and it start to hurt. Because I had her do this, I feel like I did not get all that I could out of my session. Does anyone have suggestions?

I did not have any problems with my colonics. I just lied down and read a book. My therapist gave me some massage balls to rub up and down my abdomen while I lied down and it helped me. Plus I got probiotics and took that and it help me. And also smart water with eltrolytes( Idon't think it is spelled right) helped me also with the pain.

Seline, it seems like yu had an open system colonic.....the closed system ones are safer.....make sure yu find a place that uses the closed system.......you shoulden't be pushing water out......only the open systems you push, but according to my research and understanding you shoulden't be pushing anything out of you.....read up on it some more. I think most people do not realize the difference between the open and closed systems.

Thanks for the info. I was also curious how much did it cost you? Because the way he puts it you need to get one every other day for a month and I wanna make sure I am going to be able to afford it. I don't have any kind of idea what these things can cost.

Now I have a second question, Isn't colonics and colon cleanse basically the same thing then? Do I have to do a colon cleanse if I have done the colonics. By the way the reason I was confused is because I think of colonics as a colon flush with water and had never really heard the term colonics used for the flush before.

Or is there some kind of other benefit from using some other product to flush the colon in a longer process???

Here is an update to my question which I kinda got the answer so incase anyone else is confused also they might gain the knowledge that I am sharing which I have learned. I walked over to a place that does hydrotherapy and the lady there was really nice and we sat and talked for quite a while. This office is litterally about 2 minutes from my house and I had a good walk afterwards. She explained how she uses a machine to do the colonic. She said there machine is one of the best and ironically it is FDA approved. It happens to cost $80 and she also does it in either a 3 part series or a 6 part series and gives a price break if you get it done in a series. She explained that the colonics can only get toxins out of the intestine and when you do a cleanse it gets toxins out of your other organs as well. There are some clenses called detox as well as some with fiber in it. It sounds like the fiber ones are better because she told me that the fiber removes the plaque that is built up on the intestine. Yes there is plaque that builds up on your colon and that is why some people have smaller sized poops. The fiber cleanse helps to remove this.

Also she told me about something else that sounded like it was a pretty good thing to do. It's called a foot detox bath. Apparently it draws toxins out of your body just by soaking your feet in water and they put in this thing that ionizes the water so it changes the charge of the water. The water then draws out toxins from you body.

I asked her about using one of those things that you hook up to your shower to do it yourself at home. She told me a lot of her clients have one and the people who do love it. They just come in once in a while to have the machine do it. So it seems like the one you can get to hook up to the shower would be a good investment. The series of just 6 would cost me almost $400 and the at home one cost $195. Someone linked to one on one of the other threads and it looks like it would work well. I hope this helps give anyone who needs it a general idea of what the price might be. I am sure it varys depending on where you go.

I hope this information helps others who are wondering.
