Hello,

I just wanted to say hello and share a comment. ANziety is nothing new to me since I was a 3rd grader all the way up into adult hood. But I did get over it, not just deal with it as I was once told. Any ho, I have a an old page that has a lot of resources on it for those experiencing anziety.

You can view my old page here:

It needs updating badly but it still has some good resources though.

Just to let you now, I once specialized in phobias. I am a certified clinical hypnotherapist of old. And that can be checked and verified.

Enjoy your evening! G

Hello!
I have just recently won the war with depression and anxiety once in for all. Something that really helps, besides eating well, is reading books. I realized that I love learning, and when I am reading a book, what I am reading becomes more prominet in my head than depression and anxiety. A book I recommend for people who are in the first stages of overcoming depression is "There is nothing wrong with you." But there are TONS of great books out there that teach you many, many things. And getting a fun relaxing hobby like riding a bike or baking helps a lot too. :]
Just thought I'd share.

I was on paxil, ativan, celexa and xanax, none worked well for me. They all made me feel like I was going crazy.

I saw my naturopath and started "myers injections" and also used bachs rescue flower remedies.

I know anxiety feels like there is no way out, that you will feel like this the rest of your life, but that is false. There is a cure, you will get better!!

Greetings folks!
I am not here giving medical advise, but just trying to help out, therefore you are advised to visit a qualified health care practitioner of your choice.
Most depression and anxiety, have an initializing event, that is, something that has caused neurochemicals-hormonal system to go out of balance. Causes to be aware of are:
Vitamins and minerals deficiencies,
Environmental pollution, which has many floating toxins disrupting normal equilibrium or interfering with production of normal neurochemicals production (Example. serotonin).
Illnesses of the brain may express themselves with these symptoms as well.
Most commonly, a situational issue, that is... a specific event has occurred in a persons' life, and has not been resolved in an efficient manor. If this is ongoing and allowed to continue, it will lead to a subconscious conflict and this can create the grounds which lead to an unbalanced state. The cause must be sought out! People should not have to depend on anything to make them "feel good". God has equipped you with a wonderful working body. Now patiently, seek to find the cause, try to resolve it as best as possible. Talk to a friend. I always seek the Lord for help when things get rocky or leave me scratching my head!.
BTW, exercising and watching funny shows help tune up the body and produce "good feeling hormones/neurochemicals!

My husband has a lot of anxiety and and anger issues and he takes 5HTP. You can also combine this with St. John's wort. I, too, would like to know what everyone else uses, as he was on meds and hates taking them for many reasons.
