Hi,

I am a nurse with mild eczema. When I work the frequent washing makes my hands crack and bleed, especially in the winter. Mostly mine is overly dry skin, but I can relate and sympathize.

Two products that have helped me are Surgeons Skin Secret available on QVC, It has beeswax to form a barrier, and Infinate Aloe I found at a kiosk in Vegas It penetrates deep and heals my chapped/cracked hands quickly. Washing in cold water, days off and heavy duty moisturizers help me.

I have a link on my page to an essential oil store that promise their oils can cure many skin conditions or they will give your money back! Their prices are very reasonable and the testimonials were impressive. If my condition were worse I would try it!

Good luck and take care.

I am new to this site. But I have been plauged with eczema and psoriosis for almost 16 years. My skin easily dries and I have to hydrate with lotions. My psoriosis is in remission, thank goodness, since it's worse than even eczema. I agree with the lady who said cleaning products worsened it. I remember I was working in a restaurant, my fingers would crack and bleed. Terribly painful. Layers maybe 20 deep would peel off and my hands and fingertips so sore I couldn't hardly bear to touch anything. I learned to keep on bandaids, but my hands were in cleaning water often. I started using rubber gloves to do my dishes at home and took some to work too. The rash was up both arms, it was quite embarrassing serve people's food, but what could I do? I even used those gloves to bathe my kids in their bath, and my own showers too. The winter weather makes it worse, but I slather on loads of heavy duty moisturizer. Good luck to you all.
