I received the book "Green For Life" about a week ago. This is a very easy book to read. I like how she explains the difference between vegetables and greens. I didn't know greens can provide adequate levels of protein. That's is so good to know...I'm a vegetarian and have recently stopped eating soy, so I was wondering where I would get my protein from. Thank you for mentioning this book.

Those were great videos, I've been fruit fasting and making lots of fruit smoothies but now I will have to try green smoothies!

Looks like many of you have read the book "Green For Life". I'm ordering it. I really enjoyed the video interview with Victoria Boutenko. Looking forward to reading her book.

Hey guys!! I'm reading a book called "Green for Life" all about green smoothies, of course! I havent yet started on this endeavor, but was wondering if you guys noticed if it helps with weight loss. I'm stuck on 10 lbs and was wondering if it would help.

This is GOOD STUFF! I've made some now and the kids are freezing them and eating them at school the next day. Better than the disgusting school lunches or trying to pack a healthy lunch. Sandwiches and chips----GAG!
This rally has opened a new door for me and my family. I always stared at those greens and wondered how people ate them. This is like eating the sun's rays.
I have used spinach, collard greens, mustard greens(spicey), kale, and any other green plant looking green leaf. I also put pineapple in---YUMMY! Next I'm going foraging when the sun brings up the wild greens soon!
Now I don't have to go to the grocery store and have a panic attack about what I can eat that is good for my body! Can't wait til Farmer's Market!
My blender found a new life besides fruit smoothie maker!

Marilyn, thanks for posting the video's. Finally was able to watch them and really enjoyed the Boutenko's! I'm going to pull her book off my shelf again and reacquaint myself-a great book...what an adorable family to boot. A true joy to watch!. Greensmoothiegirl's blog is quite the funny-bone tickler and a great website as well. Gracias!
