Basic Video On How The Thyroid Works

Until 2002, doctors had relied on a normal TSH level ranging from 0.5 to 5.0 to diagnose and treat patients with a thyroid disorder who tested outside the boundaries of that range. Now the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) encourages doctors to consider treatments for patients who test outside the boundaries of a narrower margin based on target TSH level of 0.3 to 3.0. AACE believes the new range will result in proper diagnosis for millions of Americans who suffer from a mild thyroid disorder, but have gone untreated until now.

My mother has a thyroid condition, she asked me to look into it, and stated that a qualified natural doctor suggested she had a deficiency of iodine. So investigated briefly and found out that a defiency of iodine in our diet can cause such things. So we bought the test kit to see if in fact we were deficient in iodine, and guess what? We were. So we bought some internal use iodine and we only started a few days ago so I have no results as yet to share with you on this one.

As results come about I will post them. I do not have a thyroid condition but my mother does, but I figure if I am deficient in this and the body needs it for good health, I’d take it too.

The link I will post later for any one interested in investigating the positive results of increasing your iodine levels for better health. I am on a different PC that doesn’t have the link otherwise I would post it now.

I will get back to you with the link asap when I get on my other PC system.

Enjoy your day! G
