I just joined this group today and see the comments are not recent. I will pray for each member and their families. I do believe in the power of prayer and have seen it work in my life. I was prayed for once by my x-boyfriend's mother for an awful migraine that had me in bed and throwing up, I felt better soon after she prayed for me and I was really impressed. I know God has no limits! I have MS and I have prayed and been prayed on. I am struggling with understanding how to pray for healing. I used to pray that I was thankful for God healing me and spoke words of healing and gratefullness. I verbally expressed to others my gratefullness and I felt good but as symptoms progressed and test results showed my condition worsening my prayer changed to me thanking God for the awareness MS has brought to me about health and family and bringing me closer to Him. I began praying for acceptance of the illness as the cross I was given to carry. Is this lack of faith in healing?? I KNOW GOD HAS NO LIMITS. lack of faith in anything is lack of faith in God. I sometimes think that it is not God's timing to heal me now but that contradicts the word. I am christian and have been for the last year so I still have alot to learn in my walk with God. Any guidance on this topic would be appreciated as well as prayer. Thanks.

Never under estimate the Power of Prayer! "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it,and it will be tours." Mark 11:24 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6 Prayer is very powerfull if you believe.

Every thought is a prayer. Thoughts=Possibilities=Probabilities=Manifestation
Mark 11:24 Teaches us to believe our prayer is answered before it is spoken. Gregg Breaden's book, The Isaiah Effect, tells of an ancient lost mode of prayer that uses no words but is expressed through heartfelt meditative visualization and surrender to Divine Will, which is subduing the ego. (Psalm 46:10 - Be still and know that I am God.) Braden presents the possibility that pleading in prayer is an expression of the fear of the possibility that the prayer will not be answered. We should give thanks for the opportunity to choose from the many possibilities available and disconnect from the results; being assured that what follows is placed before us for a wise purpose no matter how cruel it appears in the present moment.

KnowNow I will pray for your neighbor and her family. A brain aneurysm is serious and will take a true miracle. But we know a God that does miracles every day! Amen.
