As an Olympic swimmer, I feel a responsibility to promote the alternatives to the use of chlorine in pools and look to contribute to making all pools world wide chlorine free! For those asking, I am still in the process of finding the BEST alternative. A great one is www.chlorfree.net
Also, owning my brilliance as a speaker, I have decided to take my story to the youth and college markets and to share not only the amazing lessons I learned from my Olympic journey but also my struggles from eating disorders.
Isn't it shocking that 80 percent of children of 10 years of age are worried about being fat...
and that 10 percent of college students suffer from a life and death battle with an eating disorder.
My recent revelations and life experiences have inspired me to share my story so that I can contribute in giving permission to thousands of others to seek help and find the true beauty...from within.
Any referrals for me to get my word out there would be appreciated.
I also write and have my first book ready for publishing...
