Wow! I can't believe you had your amalgams removed this summer too. Regarding detox, it depends on how bad your toxicity is. How many did you remove? Were you ever tested to determine level of toxicity? I have been detoxing orally, but there is blood chelation available through holistic clinics for those with more serious mercury levels.

There is a heavy metal detox available through Dr. Brenda Watson of Renew Life products. You can check it out on www.renewlife.com. It is available cheaper on www.Luckyvitamin.com (discount reseller). I don't know if they ship to the UK. Also, foot detox pads from Patch-It Nutriworks can help. They are available on Lucky also. I tried a similar product to renew life from Nature's Sunshine and the foot pads. I can tell though from how bad the pads still look that I still have the mercury in me. I will keep looking for ways to get rid of it more quickly and keep you posted.

In addition to detox products you will need something to support you through the process of detox, which can be very difficult. My life saver was eXfuze Seven+ juice, which is not available in the UK yet. I started drinking it at the same time as I started detox, and it was amazing! I later found out that is was assisting my detox tremendously not only because it is loaded with anti-oxidants but because it contains Fucoidan (a brown seaweed kelp that naturally detoxifies heavy metals from the body without being absorbed into the bloodstream). Imagine how happy I was to find that out after I was already three weeks into detox. I'm also happy that once I'm done with detox, the juice will continue helping me to detox future exposure to heavy metals from food or the environment. I'm sorry to hear about your MS. My cousin has MS and so does my other cousin's wife. I know it's tough.

Have you been tested for mercury toxicity? So many people with MS have been gotten better after mercury detox. I don't care what products anyone is trying to sell you; if you have MS because of mercury none of them are going to work to their full potential until you get detoxed. I have Sjogren's Syndrom and a bunch other problems because of Mercury from vaccines and dental fillings. I am currently detoxing and look forward to being mercury free. If you have dental amalgams you should remove those first with an experienced dentist that will protect you from further poisoning during removal. Detox and support come next. The Naturopathic doctor that diagnosed me in 2004 was pretty sure that all of my diseases were caused by the mercury. Almost every single person has been exposed to mercury to some degree; it just depends on how much. You can get a mercury hair test kit on www.greenpeace.com for $25 or get the more expensive urine test at a holistic clinic. There is definitely hope! At some point, I will put up a blog on mercury with links to the ton of research that I discovered.
