- I am deaf and born and raised in PA. I moved to Calgary in 2005 with my husband who is also deaf and born in Calgary. I'm 46 and love to draw, knit, crochet. but never get it done! I like to meet new people and learn more about natural cures. This is my first time to join so be patient with me! ;)

Same here I keep in touch by VP and aim and emails with deafies. I don't socialize much myself. I hate to miss out on a lot of things with my vision being low.
Yeah I am trying to cook health food too. I am trying to find recipes too. I hear there is raw diet recipes online which would be cheap and best for our health. I am going to look that up soon when I have the time.
Ha, no I have not finished any project yet. :( I am so bad! I put things off on hold for so long, can't imagine what my aunt is thinking! Heh
I hope you will have kids soon. They're all different, but I love my kids! I hated being alone before kids, so I'm glad to have somebody with me. :) But they can be handful sometimes. Heh
Do you socialize with any other deafies? I don't socialize at all, my vision limits me to that. It frustrates me out when I miss out on a lot of things going on around me. My friend visits me few times a month and that is a good thing though otherwise I'd go nuts! :)
Can';t wait for spring to get here so I can go for a lot of walks! It is still bit cold out, waiting for it to warm up so I won't need coat and hat. Heh
I would like to say goodbye to coats and hats for now til next winter. Haha
Good to hear from you at last! Yeah, I was born deaf and grew up in IL all my life. Never been to PA before though. :)
Next I am going to work on 3 cheerleadering bottom skirts for my daughter and 2 other girls at church for their spring choir performance. I HAVE to get it done or I will be in trouble! Haha I offered to make them though, so let's make myself work on it until they are DONE or else. haha
Yeah me too, new at Cures. Am still learning around, natural life is still so foreign to me. :-\ Only been at it a year and I am still lost. Hehe

Hey! We have something in common, I love to sew, crochet, draw and not much of knitting (only scarves). But, yeah I never could get them done. Haha Never had the time for any projects unless there's a deadline or need to have them done! :)
